hi to all strda club members,

im a newbie here, we have a 3.2 strda, i also noticed the annoying sound at the rear suspension. meron na ba solution dito.

regarding naman sa uneven height, di ko napansin yun pero parang medyo tabingi nga yun truck namen pag pinagmamasdan ko, meron na din bang solution dito, the bad thing eh wla ako sa pinas para ipaayos yun strda, but guys kung meron na solution kindly reply and then i ask someone to bring sa casa.

napansin ko din yun transmission medyo mahirap ipasok sa reverse, prang kulang sa adjustment sa clutch, saka yun spring lang medyo lumalangitngit,

i think wala naman perfect car, sa kabilang forum gaya ng navarra prang wla sila masyado poblema sa ride nila, ang poblema lang ay yun black smoke ng navarra, . ask ko lang may poblema ba na encounter kayo sa engine ng strda 2.5 at 3.2. . for me nababagalan ako sa hatak niya.

sa mga mechanism gaya ng alarm, wla naman poblema. aircon ok naman.

may napansin ako sa engine bkit mabagal mag bumalik yun rpm pag tapak mo, at lakas mag revolution pag nag automatic yun aircon, i mean ang lakas ng taas ng rpm, at nag babago yun takbo lalo ng nasa 2nd gear, bigla na lang tataas yun rpm. pasensya na po at di ko ma explain mabuti.

sa steering naman um ok lang wala ko poblema, bka to be soon pa lumabas yun sira heheh, nasa 15km pa lang naman.

sa takbo um yun nag palagay ako ng campershell hard top napansin ko parang bumagal humatak, kasi yun 140 to 165 sandali lang, unlike ng may
campershell eh parang may pumipigil, ask ko lang sa mga meron carryboy na experience nyo din ba ito.

sa long drive ok naman, nkakatakbo siya ng 185 i think, kasi naghahabolan kame ng landcruiser v8 diesel, nanakasabay naman ako, pero sympre mabilis yun LC, mabilis yun LC mag accelerate, naiiwan ako.

umm haba na nang nasulat ko heheh

guys share ko lang yun experience ko:

papunta ko sa ilocos sur, may nakabuntot sakin na navarra, tumatakbo ako ng 100 to 150 sa highway pero yun navarra tlagang dikit sa likod ko, mabilis siya makahabol pagnanakalusot ako, i guess magaling yun driver at powerful yun nvarra.

meron bang other way para lumakas yun power ng strada? gusto kong lagpasan yun navarra, kainis eh

i guessed the issue of inventories should be the responsibility of the car maker. there are market demands outpacing supply for strada since its entry..customers are suffering and it's not good for business.
i acquired a month ago a STRADA GLX with titanium blue color..was after a black but i'm not sure what a titanium blue..hayun OK naman pala it reminds me of my dark blue denim pants..
need more mods to it as the 'dough' cooperates..

same situation as ours, we seek for a white unit but the dealership told us that wala pa daw white so we ended up getting a red one which I think is ok na rin....it was way back aug 2008....at ngayun naman pala mga white and gray naman na ang natitira...

Same as mine way back sept 2008, i order 2.5L color white, but casa told there are no available units of 2.5L.. so I decided to 3.2L color white and still no stocks, ended up with color silver.

[SIZE=3]you can bring your unit to your nearest casa and get it checked, if its the same issue as what the others experience they will install a silencer kit in the leaf spring to stop the annoying noise.

[SIZE=3]from what I've learned from a co-member maybe all the strada's daw are somewhat leaning to the left daw by just a few mm were not that sure though, but still he got his unit checked and the mechanic said its within range of the appropriate height naman daw so meaning malamang alam nga nila na the strada has leaning issues to the left by a certain mm and hindi lang isa ang nakaka experience nun....same in my case, kahit anong angle ko tingnan sa garage namin ung truck talagang it leans to the left pero indi naman ganun kaobviuos...[/SIZE][SIZE=3]napansin ko din yung sa showroom even the ones that are on display has the same..but still you better get your unit checked baka kasi mamaya yours is not within range of the appropriate height. [SIZE=3]from my experience nangayayari din sakin yan dati because I have been driving an adventure which has a shallower clutch, unlike the strada it has a deeper one, so sanayan lang yan....regarding the spring WD40 mo lang tanggal yan..

[SIZE=3]absolutely sir, wala talagang perfect car kahit na sabihin mo na brand new or second hand pa yan...indi mo rin maprepredict kung kailan magkakaproblema...as for the engine so far wala naman the 4m41 engine is really performing very well either off road or on road walang bitin...and for the problems encountered naman I'd rather experience all the problems in the exterior and the interior which is easier to manage rather than the engine problems that will not only destroy your patience but at the same will put a big hole in your pocket.....and dun naman po sa nababagalan kayu sa hatak ng truck natin...baka naman po you were driving a V8 or a larger displacement engine from your country of work or rather your former car here kaya po nababagalan kayo? or di kaya you are formerly driving a sports car naman? kung hindi naman po better get your engine check na din may mga cases na din po nangyari regarding sa engine but minor lang din naman...[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]different league naman yung LC sir...hehe and I wouldn't be surprise if bubuntot lang tayu dun...but dipende rin sa LC siguro is that the LC200 or the LC100?...kasi naexperience na naming bumuntot sa land cruiser LC100(yung kay Mayor REYCAT from the TSCP mission last last week) indi rin naman kami naiiwan but if its a LC200 its in a very different league but not too far though....[/SIZE]

Same as mine way back sept 2008, i order 2.5L color white, but casa told there are no available units of 2.5L.. so I decided to 3.2L color white and still no stocks, ended up with color silver.

hehehe di pala ako nag iisa....

oh well, the color disappointment was all washed away by the performance Im pretty sure same has happen to you sir jashty

in addition to what he has mentioned, this is actually common knowledge within the club as far as the uneven stance and the squeaking springs is concerned. i do believe this can be done within warranty.

with the clutch, you can always adjust it. it was a breeze driving the Strada GLX of Ramz2419 since the adjusted clutch is very shallow. also, make sure that your floor mats are NOT along the passageway of the clutch pedal.

The Strada, like any other car is man-made and prone to errors. But yes, since it is Brandnew, we can expect a certain degree of quality.

Canopies are very useful... i think you also posted this in the forums about the air passageway between the dual cab and the canopy itself. From the looks alone, it creates a "parachute" of windspeed (drag?) that causes the speed harness. to be specific, yup, lets wait for the feedback - i know of two BOSBs- Sirs Boybit and DonT.

Land Cruiser 200 4.5 D-4D V8?! kudos to the Strada since it can still keep up with it... but i wont be suprised if the LC200 will leave you behind since you will be outnumbered with its 282horsepowered engine!

I'm finally buying my 3.2 GLS Sport AT Custm. bukas' dapat yun STD lng wala na daw availb., apti kulay Silver and white na lang.
After reading almost all of the thread...minsan nasusuka na nga ako, minsan parang over na yun build up for the Strada (on my own opinion ha),....then nag pa sked ako test drive, medyo dismaya ko nun una' cause di' dumating yun pickup for test drive...ranger na sana kunin ko para astig' kaso kita ni Mrs. yun Strada yun nlang daw..sabi ko yari ubos kwalta'

Whats your transmission Sir? sometimes po kasi dipende rin dun and nasa driving style din....but I would agree in terms of torque production the nav has the edge...352Nm against 400Nm but I think in terms of speed in the top end 3.2Gls Sport has the edge...you say your only running 100 to 150 right? so maybe thats why...

you could ask Sir dadz(our member from bangkok) regarding the piggyback system and rechipping of the ECU....Im sure It could help you put the NAV in your rear view mirorr....Wag lang po mag paparechip and mag iinstall ng piggyback ang navara... But either way Let's say sa SCTEX nyo naman yun nakasabay wherein the top speed will take effect...di nyo na siguro need ng engine upgrade...

Usually at 3rd or 4th gear, when overtaking or stepping on the gas pedal, biglang parang walang hatak eventhough tuloy apak sa pedal. Mga 3-5 seconds. then ok na uli. Nakakatakot lang kung may kasalubong. I remember before na meron na nakaranas nito. Di ko lang mahanap yung post nila. Dirty diesel? At kung ano naging findings, remedyo. Hope you can help... Wala pa kasi time punta ng casa.

Punta ka sa SFM. Nangyari na sa akin yan noon mga 1 yr na, yung pag-apak mo sa accelerator eh parang nakapako lang sa 1000 rpm, tapos mamaya lang eh okay na. Nag computer diagnostics sila tapos may problema daw sa may fuel pump. Pinalitan naman. Kaya lang 2.5 yung sa akin. Ewan ko lang sa 3.2.

I think it has something to do with the dirty diesel and letting your fuel go below 1/4 level. Subukan mo Seaoil with bioexceed, meron sa Los Banos. Alam ko Euro 4 compliant ang diesel nila, pero Euro 2 lang mga makina natin.

Simula noon, lagi akong full tank (kahit hindi na seaoil). Hindi na naulit, kaya lang nakakainis kapag biglang bumababa ang presyo mg diesel kinabukasan

sorry to hear that doc. But I would highly suggest po na you go to the casa na.. kasi po si Manolo (one of our members) recently experienced this certain problem, di ko lang po sure if pareho kayu ng case kasi yung sakanya naging profuse. if I rememeber correctly yung sinabi nya sakin parang nag loss power po yta na ayaw na humatak. so in the end he spend I think 13.5k for the replacement of some of his fuel system parts like the filter etc. The reason daw po is dirty fuel because he apparently filled his tank up when the gasoline station was almost out of Diesel so it turned out that the residue or latak of the tank of the gasoline station was pumped into his trucks tank together with the fuel (So reminder narin po para sating lahat na pag nakita nating may tanker sa gasoline station better po siguro to skip nalang the station and head to the next one para sure or kung may time to spare pwede po siguro intayin nalang natin until the filling of the station tanks finish para sure tayo na fresh fuel ang malalagay satin)....and BTW sir manolo drives a 4m41 and I believe you drive the same po doc? so better get it check na din po...
