i'm not too sure about Nitto... lets wait for the response of Sir G01.... We have one Baguio BOSB who is using Nitto A/T tires- Ramz2419 doesn't seem to be having an issue with the it... looks good on his Strada GLX... how long will u be here in Baguio?
Sir Auroraoffroader, if you're in Baguio please don't hesitate to meet with us.
My previous tires were Goodyear Wrangler ATs which I find very tough but slippery on wet roads. My Strada now is fitted with Mickey Thompson MTZ tires and so far very much satisfied with them. I don't have any experience on the Nitto Terra Grapplers but offroad magazines that I own have good reviews on this AT tire. My Sorento uses Nitto Dura Grapplers and my wife and I are satisfied with its highway performance. You may want to contact Jeff, the owner of Jeff Offroad House, to know more about Nitto tires. His number is 09174787555. Good luck!
Want to share pala mga BOSB..my road trip sa north while I was on vacation a few weeks ago.
Did a total of around 1260kms. Sarap ng Drive!
thanks, you change your tires agad, how long did you use your Wrangler tires? maybe sometime we could sit down and have some coffee. wala pa rin naman akong masyadong tropa dito. hehehe... buti na lang may club na ganito, it really helps, even if i only browse this site often.
im from naguilian, i got that handle because im from Aurora province before. i stay here most of the time, but sometimes I have to go down to aurora.
The Wrangler tires came from my Sorento which were used for almost a year before I transferred them to my Strada October last year. Changed them to Mickey Thompsons this April so that's around 6 months. It'll be good if we can meet over coffee. Just let us know when so that we can arrange for a meeting with all the Baguio-based TSCP members.

Hello po mga sirs I have been reading your forums for quite a while, ang gaganda ng mga strada nyo po, anyway I will be buying a pickup sometime next year, 2 po pinagpipilian ko ung dmax n lx or strada glx pero I'm more inclined in buying a glx mas napopormahan ko siya,ng iipon p lng me hehehe I want to know po kung set up q ung sounds mawawala b warranty nya? and magkanu kaya aabutin kung papalitan ko rims nya, ung rota off road sana?, ala pa akong strada e modifications kaaagad ang nasa isip hehehe, and san po kaya maganda bumili dito n lng kaya sa freeway motors in cabanatuan city or s ncr n lng,,
drive inspired!
Hi Fellow Strada Owners,
I need your opinion here, since Im thinking of having my unit oil changed outside CASA since the price there is WAY much high compare outside. But dont know what oil I can use to substitute for Turbo XP which CASA's use. Dont know also what does the 15w-50 means? Does it necessarily means I could use other brand but with the same 15w-50 in it? Tried to look from different auto hardware and cant find any oil brand with the same specs. But theres alot which specified "Fully Synthetic". Can I use any "Fully Synthetic" oil but with different SAE?
Hoping for your help. Thanks in advance! More power!
Hello Sir. i do agree with the reply of ThePatriarch regarding the wheel/tire package as well as the electricals...
as far as dealers are concerned, im afraid wala akong kilala with freeway motors for your region. you can ask for some quotation of payment terms... if you wish to try Motorplaza- (Mitsubishi's dealer network for Northern Luzon) let me know and i can refer you to one of my acquaintances to their dealer closest to you. i hope that helps.
Hi, i'm not a strada owner but i am a montero owner.. i was just wondering if anybody from this strada thread have installed lowering springs on your strada? If so, what brand did you use? and hows the drop? Thank you in advance!
hi sir... welcome!
AFAIK, no one went used lowering springs amongst club members... In fact some of us increased by a few inches.
Lets wait for the rest of the BOSBs especially the response of Bro Dadz from Thailand... some Triton/Stradas there especially in 4x2 drivetrain have been lowered by aftermarket specialists like you. heheheh
