Aha! Of course, you know... this means war!

Yeah, sayang.. they should have spent more on fixing the side profile of the Ranger, just to make it more appealing.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

ranger vs strada? its best settled in the drag race or on a true off road course

I agree, the ranger deserves a make over But I think Ford did what they thought was right. they allocated their resources to what they think mattered the most in a pickup - the engine and 4x4 toughness and utility. Different strokes for different folks

Pano yong auto start feature nato? Hindi ko alam to, pa expalin naman. Thanks

mapa-space ship or mapa-kariton pa yan, i now believe na short-changed lang bumibili ng pickup ngaun. for 1M+, luge.

you cram yourself in the front tapos you drive everyday wasting half the space na hindi mo malagyan ng kargamento na puwede manakaw o mabasa.

hindi mo malagyan ng fibre cover, coz that will limit the available cargo space. hindi mo malagyan ng carryboy kasi pangit ang hitsura, minsan nag-iiba pa kulay nagmumuka squatter tuloy yun pickup.

useful na lang yan sa mga mahilig mag-landscaping tulad sa Amerika and mga tao nagbubuhat ng sobrang bigat na bagay like heavy machineries and construction items -> items na hindi mo din kaya buhatin on your own or even yun magnanakaw

sad to say the Pickup nowadays should now be classfied as heavy equipment machinery at par with the dump trucks, lifters etc...

i had a strada pickup and I'm so relieved na nabenta na. i dont even miss it.

The CAGI may have its reasons for choosing strada over the others, that's why I want to know what magazine I could read so I can evaluate its full report. For me, the strada will surely lose in a drag race if pitted against the ranger or the hi-lux, and it would also be behind the ranger in off-road because of the lack of LSD rear differential and relative lack of power.

I guess the CAGI evaluated the pick-up as a total package including value for money and creature comfort. Pick-ups have evolved over the years and the most significant is from a single cab to double cab to accomodate more people. It has become a sort of family car as well. Why would you add a rear cab and make those riding in the rear uncomfortable? And why do away with electronic gadgets in our electronic dependent world?

If I want to lessen the shortcomings of my strada in terms of performance, I can have an an ECU installed to increase hp to 163 and torque to 380, and also add ARB rear lockers, all for about 100k. It would still come out cheaper than the ranger and hi-lux.

    JMHO

each pickup manufacturer has their own niche to appeal to different market... Sometimes comparing one to the other is like apples to oranges nowadays There's the comfy, budget friendly, good looking trucks. And on the other hand, the standard powerful workhorse. Depende lang talaga sa user/group on what their theme or goal is on choosing a pickup.

dapat stock form pag-drag or off road comparo hehehe tapos stock form rin pag aesthetic comparo hehehe

you have to press and hold the lock button on the remote then wait until the light on the remote turns green. then when it does press the lock button again, it will beep thrice then press the unlock button on the remote. after a few seconds the engine will start.

Ok a hi-tech but it is easier if you just use your key.

    mga strada owners,

although I'm a dmax owner here, post kayo dito ng any updates on your new ride regarding your modifications, set-ups, etc, etc. may thread kasi kami na "dmax owners", so dapat may "strada owners" din. may thread nga about the strada, but parang walang nagpo-post regarding sa mga modications and set-ups.

para may information taung lahat and usualy kasi, ung mods/set-ups na puedeng gawin sa strada puede ring gawin sa dmax, hilux and frontier.

Good day sa lahat ng pick-up lovers..

    Thanx 2Dmax!

I bought my strada gls m/t last nov 06 and have logged in 12k kms and still no problems. I changed my tires to 265/70R16 as allowed in the manual. I also have new mags but installed the original tire valve with sensor from the orig mags to retain the use of tire pressure monitor. Buti na lang at nag fit. My foglamps now are yellow polargs and I heightened the beam by inserting washers in the 2 lower bolts. I find the original foglight beam a little low. Yun headlight bulbs ko pinalitan ko rin. So far ito pa lang. May mga plano pa pero ipon muna.

I already own a strada for a month now and after a couple of OFF-ROAD adventures I noticed that there is now a loud squeek coming from the rear bed especially when I hit bumps on the road. Should this be a cause of concern? or is this normal? And anybody out there have the same problem?
