kaya naman cguro 15km/l pero mahirap talaga....super consevative cguro driving style mo nun...

sakin, pinakamatipid na 12.5 km/l highway cruising (maintained speed of 90kph)

I managed to get 11.2 km/hr highway driving going to Ilocos last holy week despite the heavy traffic starting from NLEX to Pangasinan. I had four adults and two kids plus about a hundred kilos or so load at the bed, so 12-14 i think is very much achievable. City driving - 10 km/hr

My only problem right now is wala pa yung replacement nang clutch kit ko, may tagas dun sa joint just above the clutch pedal). At saka nga pala, has someone tried adjusting their alarm?

2DMAX - in behalf of strada owners, thanks for the advice (I also browse around your dmax thread for helpful ideas and marami akong nalalaman)

clocked 13.7 kms/l mostly highway (90-110kph), some limited idling time, occasional high revving while passing slower cars and trucks. not bad for the power on tap

Yesterday I did some off-roading when I went to see a farm for sale. It was about 1km of really bad roads traversing coconut plantations, consisting of soft soil with really deep ruts left behind by trucks, jeeps, and carabao carriage. Don't let the good looks of the strada fool you coz underneath is a different animal. I had no problems whatsoever and the power is really more than enough. I brought along my wife and kids with me and they enjoyed it (ride was still great). Too bad I forgot to bring my videocam. I definitely will go back there when the rain comes

Guys, I need your advice on this one. There's an available ecu upgrade and I'm really tempted to install one on my strada. This is Pbox and it claims to increase hp from 136 to 163 at 3500rpm and torque from 314 to 380nM at 2000rpm (parang 4M41 specs). This will eliminate the turbo lag also help in acceleration at low rpms. Another nice thing about it is it is programmed to go back to the original tuning once the engine is near the maximum rpm therefore not putting strain on the engine at high rpms. I know it will throw the warranty out the window but I trust the 4d56. BTW, there's an on and off switch. Now, should I or should I not?

I suggest you should go ask UK forumers first... They had those chips... Find what is the advantage and disadvantage...

Have you tried asking your SA about it? Since available naman ang option na ganyan sa UK why not try asking your dealer first?

Congrats to the STRADA owners. All I can do is envy...hehe.

As for the chips, I think Speedlab sells them. Inquire ka nalang dun. But of course you should also do some research and ask those who've already installed in their rigs.

Thanks guys! I will do some more research, mahirap magsisi. But if I decide to have one installed, I will keep you guys posted.

Madami na nga ditong strada, at nakakasawa na . I have always trusted the LCVs of mitsu.

Just like anyone who changes his mags, it's more of a personal statement with some consideration to increase performance. Kaya yun, ayooss! Para-paraan lang yan hehehe....

recently changed my rims to a Ralliart replica (webbed design) 16x8.5 with 265/70/16 bridgestone dueler ATs....ganda tignan kasi labas ng fenders...parang lalamunin ung kalsada...hehehe...
    Mga boss tsip,

I plan to change my stock tires to 265/70/r16 but I will still to use my stock mags. Ok lang ba even if it is a bit thin and virtually no offset? Btw my rig is the glx variant, mas manipis yata ng konti ung mags than the gls.

    Thanks

wait for a long term review maybe 6 mons to 1 year or so, if you can wait that long... and if there is no immediate/business need for it antay na lang muna ... atleast you'd be able to know more about the product. waiting for a long term review of a product allows the initial problems to pop out in the real world that was not seen when it was tested during its development.

gano ba lapad ng stock rims ng glx variant? 16x7 din ba siya? if yes, ok lang ung 265/70/16 tyres dun bro....gaganda nga yan pag pinalitan mo rubber mo...just expect na medjo magbabago handling ng auto mo kasi sa bigat ng tyres....

    sir drave,

tama sila, wait ka muna ng feedbacks about the product...hirap talaga magsisi sa huli...pero sana okay naman ung product...imagine the surprise ng isang toyota hilux 3.0D4D driver pag iniwanan mo siya sa isang drag race!

meron na ba price ung product sir? magkano?

    Ron,

May 2 years warranty rin yung product.

Oh well....
