kasi we'll be getting our strada next week.. GLX color black.. our plan is after releasing it we're going to change tires and put a roll-up cover. kaya im asking your opinions tnx guys for the help!

I was told by my Service Advisor that it was "normal" on 4x4 vehicles. I told him we had an older Pajero and it was 4x4, I never noticed a sound like that (then again I only drove it everyday for a month which I think is sufficient). Then he tells me (another advisor said to him) that sa Strada normal daw yon but to make sure, he will test drive two more Stradas to confirm.

I want to go back to the casa armed with as much information as I can get and I thought this was the best venue to gather that information.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Any ideas? Thx in advance.

Sir, I suggest you take your truck to another dealer baka mag-iba ang diagnosis.

Bro, if you will be buying chrome rims, get the 20's na. alanganin ang 18's na chrome sa strada natin.

Since break-in period pa lang talagang iningatan ko in terms of not going over 100kp/h and 3000rpm. On my best recollection at around 1700rpm or less nago-occur ang sound at speeds less than 30kp/h. Kahit na minimal application nang gas, there are times na prominent talaga ang sound inside the cabin.

Baka negative on recording the sound but I'll try.

In a sense, the fact that it doesn't happen all the time makes it worse, lol.

Since this happened only a couple of days later from the time I got my hands on the car, I have very little data to go by.

The problem did appear the day after I engaged the 4x4 4h just to try it out. I drove around unpaved roads to kick some dirt. But it wasn't hardcore or anything, it shouldn't loosen any mounts?

If there was anything that triggered this event that could be it. But I'm nowhere near certain that such is the case since the driving condition i subjected the car to was not so severe to warrant such a change in its performance.

So far I think I'm the only one in the thread that has had this experience?

Bro, my bad. Hindi nga yan sa engine. Sa 4x4 mo nga yan....at hindi yan normal gaya ng sinabi ng SA mo. saang casa ka bumili?

do you remember at what speed did you engage 4H? there is a speed limit. improper engaging of the 4x4 will definitely lead to problems.

did you hear it when 4H is engaged or when you returned it to 2H?
at what speed did you return it to 2H?

check mo rin baka sa disc brakes and hand brake mo to bro.

I have fond childhood memories of Laur.

BTW, I also have relatives in Cabanatuan City.
