ows im sorry, l/100km pala yong figure kala ko km/l, definitely the dmax is the most economical don sa figures, however it is not as prompt as the others.

I drive the low end version of the Strada here in KSA and I do can't complain much. I also used to drive the low end version of the Hilux when I was in Oman. Matagtag talaga.

Sa pinas naman I have the GLS Sport version, I do not feel that its more bone jarring than a sedan. We have to compare apples to apples ika nga. The only thing i felt different was the rolling of the truck.

here is my 1 week old strada 07 2.5 liter GLX 4x2. as of today. 400km. all stock so far.

farthest place it travelled was to our house in tagaytay.

ride is good for a truck, better FC then my old SUV, more quiet. but one thing i have to get used to is the high clutch. i read somewhere that this can be adjusted. ill have it adjusted on my 1k checkup. so far so good.

Im planning to sell my '04 sedan and get a 4x4 matic STRADA. I prefer pick-up because of business reason.

By the way sa front seat hinda naman po matagtag? sana sa rear seats lang ang tagtag

    Thanks in advance..
It's my first pickup and I came from a big sedan myself , and a pickup took a little getting used to ( handling amd ride quality )
The engine is a little loud pero not unpleasant, it growls I actually like the sound at high revs
At 100kph , like DonT said the engine isnt even trying hard
Matagtag siya if you compare it w/ your sedan, but di naman uncomfortable and I doubt the baby will notice ( the wife might )
Sa rear seats ...it's worse hehe
    Subjective naman yan
But it's worth it considering I can do 140kph at the SLEX at 10km/li ( if the computer can be trusted )
I drive a 100km a day sa weekdays yet I dont miss my old car
    I'd say go for it

I'm glad I'm not the only one, sobra taas ng clutch
I had my clutch adjusted the very next day at the dealer

Yes, you're right, may pinatanggal ako, yung lalagyan ng jack. Di kasi lalapat ng maayos yung baffles at hindi mai-lock yung seat pag di tinanggal yun. small price to pay for better sounds.

Ang nakapagpamahal talaga dun (medyo luho na nga yun) yung morel dotech ovation 6 separates, which cost me around 17-18k.

Then, of course, yung enclosed sub (around 9-10k ata) kasi kulang sa bass yung setup pag wala e. yung seps and sub sa isang crunch powerzone pZi175.4 4-channel amp (around 9k) nakakabit (which is under the front passenger seat).

yung rear stock speakers ko sa HU (i changed my HU to pioneer 7950UB, around 11k at that time) na lang at binawasan ko volume para di sabog sa tunog. I'll upgrade it later with a set of morel coaxials.

Tanong ninyo rin sa dealers nyo kung di nga ma-void ang warranty when you upgrade your sound setup. If you decide to do so, you can have it done at Mickeys Autosound (where I had mine done) in Cainta or sa shop ni Jeff Tan in Araneta Avenue (kung budget setup ang gusto mo).
