What is the disadvantage of having a thin tire? Di ba mas malapad, mas makapit pero mas mahirap magsteer. Kung manipis naman, madali ang pagsteer, pero compromise ang road hugging ability ng rig? Ganoon ba yon? Anybody from the BOSB/KISSers? Can somebody from the MMCP explain why do they have to change the tire profile of the 2008 Strada? Cost cutting ba to or what? Siempre kailangan natin ng explanation bakit ganoon.

They upgraded the Rims probably to give more value. However, they might have change the tires to compensate for the height. So the 2008 model is half inch lower than the 2007. The 20mm difference in width of the tires can be substantially helpful on tight corners, considering the height of our Strada.

IMO... MMC had to balance the size height of the 17" tires over the width of the 16" tires... so if i was to visualize the 2008 strada with 265/65R17 tires (instead of the standard 245), there might be tendency for it to hit (kiss-kiss) the wheel well and other underchassis components for the front wheels- and it would look very, very odd if the rear tires had a bigger tire size. BUT considering that there are Strada Owners there who have those big bling-bling 20"+++ tires, i may not know what could be the reason.

7"LCD for the HU? is it a motorized screen from the HU? i think this might be available at the 2.5 GLS 4x4 paano na yung RV meter? andyan pa ba?

oo bro, may ganung function ang n95. the problem is that hindi pa ganun ka-updated yung maps ng nokia with respect sa mga roads dito sa pinas. and medyo mabagal pa kumuha ng satellite signal. kaya kung solo ka lang sa car mo and you will rely lang sa GPS ng n95 for navigation, better na tumigil ka na lang and magtanong sa mga tao sa labas, hehehehe

sir question din regarding your tint and to other BOSB, 3M po ba tint nyo?balak ko kasi black yung tint ko yung hndi ako kita sa luob, tama ba na dark sa sides and medium sa windshield and sa rear?ang concern ko kasi baka mahirpan ako mag drive pag gabe, pag tumitingin sa side mirror..thanks

bro 3M magic din ang tint ko, dark sa sides and rear and medium sa front. ok naman siya, di masyado madilim sa loob pero sa labas puede ka manalamin. free ko lang nakuha sa casa yan and insist mo na 'one piece' lang per area para walang dugtong

same model tayo sir GLS sport din..pero hndi na banggit ng SA namin yung 7" LCD screen sabi nya lang na JVC HU..standard na kaya sya ngaun sa GLS SPORT?sayang din kasi kahit hndi natin magagamit habang nag ddrive tayo, atleast our pasengers can watch and mas maganda nadin kesa wala..hehe

mr. elsonblue, pahabol lang sa sagot ni mr. thepatriarch, yung ipapakabiy mo na tint sa kasa, medyo tingnan lang ng mabuti pagkatapos nila gawin and remember na may warranty ang tint installations ha!!! the installation that DMC MArcos hiway did on mine was pathetic!!!! Have 3M medium fulltint on all sides(may visor din ako na medium sa harap na pinatungan namin ng full tint)
