Parang kung mataas ang monthly mileage mo , I think mas maganda pa rin yung 2.5 li as a daily commute
Matipid sa diesel and maintenance
3.2li are fast , pero my ave speed is only 26km/hr hindi nagagamit
And this is driving the slex everyday

The next EB of the Mitsubishi L200 Club of the Philippines will be on the 26th of January 2008, Saturday 4PM onwards. Our venue will be at Chops/BBQ Boy, Ortigas Home Depot, Julia Vargas corner Meralco Avenues, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

Turbo timer, securing spare tires, body cladding, and other accs will be discussed, and of course, the usual meet and greet with our strada brothers. Plus, upcoming activities of the club will be discussed.

Everyone who owns a Strada/L200, whatever the generation is, are welcome to join the EB. To those who are interested, please sign-up. Those already on the list, please spread the word.

Earlier, while I was driving from work, naisip ko lang na I'm driving a truck w/c is overpowered. Feeling ko tuloy baka mas smooth dalhin ang 2.5L. I will rarely carry heavy cargo. Although satisfied naman ako sa FC, 10-11km/L, mostly hiway driving. Regarding the average speed, wag mo na lang pansinin. Kasama kc sa computation nyan yung matagal na naka-stop or slow driving.

thanks sir DonT...hindi ba parang hirap magstart yung engine mo? yung sakin kasi 3x tries pa bago sha magstart. Battery problem kaya yun?

actually for cold engine starts i.e. the very first start in the morning it is recommended that the accelerator pedal be depressed, taking into account of course that you have allowed the glow system to preheat (meaning the coil-like amber colored symbol should turn-off) before starting. This has something to do with the CRDi system. now if hard starting stil occurs even if you depress accelerator and wait for the glow system to preheat then you should have your unit checked. Battery is GS and is a low-maintenance type not a maintenance -free so dapat you should check solution every now and then.

new bigger rims will be coming out in February, no specific tires yet. but read ian's previous post. headunit will also change to jvc. but be prepared of price increase.

the brochure indicates ralliart matting as dealer option. I don't think anyone has those. everyone i know was given just plain mitsubishi matting for free. in short..hindi ka niloloko ng agent mo. but do shop around before making a final sale. iba iba agents will give you different things. hope you can make it sa eb coming up next sat.

Sana while on fun runs, pwede rin kayo mag outreach so that the people will have good image of the club, you can give canned foods, school supplies to orphanages. Actually sa halagang 200, kompleto na ang isang school supply para sa isang bata . Same thing what Triton clubs do in Thailand...

Another suggestion of the club name, Mitsubishi L200 Club of the Philippines (ML2CP) Why L200? Kasi kung Strada lang, the other range of L200's like Endeavor, or 1st and 2nd Generations na 4x2 won't be included. Mas masaya kung marami kaya maganda rin isama ang past generations ng Strada.

Yung #3 and #4 naman super lakas. di ko rin nagagamit. i guess normal lang yan naeexperience natin. pero itanong ko parin sa casa when i get my plate next week (hopefully).

Actually, it's good to hear na may ganun... Kasi when you are driving at night... Super lamig kung #1 ka lang... Same sa Honda Jazz namin, namumula ang kamay ko sa lamig kahit #1 lang... Nakaka-inis kasi di pwedeng hinaan.

Yes ser ganyan nga, ususally naka #2 ako para medyo maayus ung lamig lalo na pag late morning to afternoon , pero i guess in a way tama rin na meron ganun option for super lamig times, pero yes ako rin in 2 weeks time pagkuha ko ng plate number ko pa check ko rin sa casa.

New econorun for my strada. Averages 7.2l/100 km transalting to around 14km per liter. Tipid talaga ng strada even if its a 3.2l unit.
