Naku, ganyan na ganyan ako last Nov. He he.

Has anyone thought of placing sandbags at the back para daw mas maging stable ang ride? I usually drive alone, kaya medyo matagtag when I reach 80-100kph (pangit kasi daan). Eto kasi suggestion ng ibang older pick-up drivers. Yung pick-up ang old, hindi yung driver...

Drave, so far, I think your cargo box design ang pinakabagay sa Strada 07. Di ko type yung naka-display sa SFM San Pablo. Plus, puede i-open from the side. I'm thinking of buying one where I can place the sandbags... este, yung mga nagkalat kong gamit sa backseat.

I tried it sa NLEX out of curiousity lang I bet kaya nya mag 200kph w. better wheels at sport lid sa bed

BTW , dun sa naghahanap ng utility box
Meron sa subic for only 9t na box galing US dun sa importet hardware store tabi ng royal subic.
Kasya sa strada coz my cousin just got one for his
Meron din cargo nets for 2t , and cargo straps w/ hooks 800p
Ako , satisfied nako sa Orocan box ko safe kasi walang gustong magnakaw

Wag na, tataas lang FC mo. Try putting in nitrogens first. The gas doesn't expand that much when it's hot as compared to ordinary air. Available yan and very cheap (50 petots only per tire) at Yokohama San Pablo (formerly Servitek), which is located in near SPC Medical Center and in front of Caltex. If you think it's still matagtag, lower your tire pressure by 1-2 psi (the TPMS would usually go off at 26psi or less).

    Hope this helps

Drey, I don't know if nitrogen can improve FC. What I know is that the tire pressure is almost always constant whether in hot or cold environment.

I also noticed that eversince I started using nitros, I haven't heard my TPMS go off (due to constant pressure and longer intervals of filling).

    Glycerine,

This is how my utility box was attached....

Notice in the second pic how I put the additional lock for more security. Just needs constant wd40 though. I don't like padlocks, they're noisy due to the banging. I also tried painting the attachment black pero nag-chip off

Try having it fabricated in a machine or welding shop to make it look good.

    bro-

if u can take picture of yours (with the orocan) + cousin's strada with the box- that would be a great help for our friend and open up new ideas to accessorize the pickup bed.

and tell your cousin to join the EB and this thread! the more, the merrier!

hehe yung orocan is just the ordinary plastic drum type. Yung mukang malaking balde it fits a lot of baggage better than any utility box
I just tie it up when I need it and remove when I dont

    Glycerine,

Warranty? Mas marami kang bubutasin kung motorized sport lid hehe....

pips, sa mga naka 245/70/16 na tires, pa-share naman tire pressure / psi na nilalagay nyo. with and without cargo.

yung sakin, nung naka 205/80/16 (GLX stock) tires pa ako around 35psi with cargo. 32psi without cargo. (ito yung recommendation na nakalagay sa may door ng strada). now that i got a 245/70/16, same psi parin nilalagay ko. wala kasi ako basis kung ano ilalagay with my bigger tires.

This has something to do with the CRDi system. now if hard starting stil occurs even if you depress accelerator and wait for the glow system to preheat then you should have your unit checked. Battery is GS and is a low-maintenance type not a maintenance -free so dapat you should check solution every now and then.
i totally disagree with this. we have fuel injected cars, this is old school. that procedure is for carburator type vehicles and not fuel injected cars. specially on new vehicles, one should not have to depress the accelerator prior to starting the vehicle. specially in our weather condition. maybe if we live in a country that has winter/snow/severe cold conditions, that might be applicable, but not our weather conditions in the Philippines.i was at baguio for new year, never did i need to depress the accelerator prior to starting the engine. just wait till the glow plugs indicator turns off and start. no problem with starting.it starts at one try.

i suggest you have your battery checked or starting system checked. maybe your battery has week output.diesel fed cars needs more output voltage than gas fed vehicles. please also take note, not all diesel cars start at one click,. one start/crank but it should start in 1-3 seconds but usually 1-2 seconds lang ang starting ninya. one thing you can also do is ask the service advisor to let you start other vehicles of the same variant for you to compare if its normal or not.

this is my practice. 30 sa harap and 28 sa likod all cold. when you start driving the car, air will heat up so tataas din ang psi ninyan to 32 and 30. the ride is soft. if the psi is to high, rough ride and you will see that the middle portion of the tires is being used up..so not even wear. my old suv with bigger tires...ganun din 30 and 28 or 32 and 30.

    From our friends from MMPC.
    1. GS Battery.

    2. Synthetic Oil vs. Mineral Oil.
For your Stradas, you could either use the Mineral oil or the Synthetic oil.

If you use the Mitsubishi Turbo-XP synthetic oil, it would not void the warranty since such is one of our approved and recommended product.
Thank you very much for your inquiry and your patronage. I hope that I have given you enough insight.
    Regards to your group.

To read more info, log on to the strada group site. Meron din attachment to compare regular oil to synthetic.
