Hmmm... i noticed that too. But based on my driving experience with a 3.0D Fortuner, i think they had almost the same engine noise especially when cruising at a speed of 60-80km/h.

Maybe if i had the time i would try to test drive again both the fortuner and montero sport at the same day and see if i'd still get the same observation with their engine noise. But whatever results i get still i love the new montero sport than the fortuner, alterra, everest or santa fe. hahaha!

I read sa Internet press release before that new Montero Sport is getting water repellant seats. Ganun ba yung kasama sa base model naten or is it just regular fabric seats?

Water repellant seats are standard for the Montero Sport GLS. And it doesn't look cheap though.

agree agree! nung una parang hindi ako benta at parang gusto ko nang sabihin sa dad ko na humanap na lang siya ng iba... pero the more i check the photos online (and checked it in person), benta na ko ngayon sa montero hehe

I think they should have displayed the stock version like wilcat's pictures during the car show in PICC recently hehe

Some friends were turned off initially but seems like Montero Sport is growing on them now...
