hello, we recently got an ms and my dad wants to replace the head unit with something that can be integrated with a back-up camera. any suggestions on which model to get? and is there a head unit in the market that already comes packaged with the sensors? also, is it possible to install corner sensors in the front bumper with a proximity lighting indicator ala 7-series (sorry, really dont know how else to describe it). but afaik, aside from the beeping sound getting louder as the car gets nearer to an obstacle, there's also a light indicator that turns darker (yellow to red, etc.) that complements the beeping. will really appreciate all the help i can get as i'm really quite clueless with these things

Medyo mahina nga ang tunog ng sensor, Try moving it near the vent dun sa takip nung rear compartment kung saan nakalagay yung tools and jack just like what i did to ours. Doon kasi nakalagay yung pinaka speaker nung sensor niya. Nung bago kasi namin ilipat naka-dikit siya mismo sa yero. Try using double adhesive or cable ties

we just got one last week, red. can anyone recommend a wheels/tires size upgrade w/o compromising the ride too much? maybe 265/70 R18 will do? i'm not quite feeling the stock ones, seems kinda puny, especially at the rear.

Congrats to all montero sport owners!!!

To those planning to buy..kamusta ang pila?? We got our unit GLS from a provincial dealer. 3-days lang kuha na...hindi pa in-house yung insurance. wala lang nga seat cover.

I'm planning to install turbo timer...is it really necessary?

hi montero owners, beware of spare tire thieves better buy chain locks for security. Baka manakaw sparetire. i know some friends basta sparetire sa ilalim nang SUV in minutes nanakaw na. sanay na sanay mga thieves

Hi there guys, just got my GLS today. Just a question though, is it true that the JVC stereo doesn't have any remote? But in the manual is says it does...

Just want to confirm what my SR is saying.

    Congrats sir!

I had the same plan so we asked our dealer. Tricky daw yung installation so they are recommending the same shop na naglagay ng alarm. I don't know if that's true, pero probably dahil wala pang masyadong gumagawa nito, and you dahil din cguro sa airbag. 9k ang quote nung shop. I think it's a bit pricy, kasi I can purchase a type-0 HKS for less than 5k (converted) from where I am at.

For now, di naman hard driven MS ko dahil break-in period, basta daw idle the engine na lang for at least 2 mins kung hard driven sya. So I am still not sure kung worth it nga.

Turning my attention to installing HID instead.

Hi, i'm a newbie here and i joined specifically to maybe get feedback or help with the montero. Greetings to all especially to all new Montero Sport owners.

Anyways, i couldn't help myself but to hook up the montero as soon as i got it about 2 weeks ago. But now i'm stuck.. Anybody know how i can lower it? I put on 22" rims, but now the car went up so high that we're even having a hard time climbing in. I spoke to some people but there's no application from H&R.

Mitsubishi tells me that the front suspension is patterned after the past 2 pajero models and the rear is patterned after the older montero.

The rear is not a problem with H&R.. but the front.. there are no lowering springs for the pajero..only a lowering kit (coilovers).. which will be to expensive to get just for the front? anybody have any insight? Please, no "putol" :bwahaha:

any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    andito pala ang MS owners!

Mga bossing, paki-indicate naman ang fuel consumption nya so far based on your individual experiences. Eto na lang ang consideration ko before buying one.

    Thanks a million!

All it does is it starts the measuring of the fuel consumption again.. if you don't reset, it will give you data from the time you start using your car until you reset it.. So its as if, when you get gas, it would be good to reset it before you go so that it'll start with new data. Rather than an average from the beginning.
