    hi guys!

does the new montero sport have the "shift-on-the-fly" capability for 4x4 to 4x2 and vice versa? if yes, what's the maximum speed that would be safe to engage the 4x4 capability?

    ches,

taga binondo ka din pala, me din.

for the mileage, i think it should be ok, the engine is same as the current pajero...i am able to get 7km/liter on the gen3 pajero, so the montero sport is lighter so should be able to get 7lm/liter easy.

about the shift on the fly 4h, yes, you can shift to 4h up to 100kph, the nice thing about the montero sport is that its engine and 4wd system is same as the pajero, but we have the duarability and toughness of a real offroad capable suv due to its tough rigid axle underpinnings.im glad i got a chance to get this montero sport. it will serve me for the next 10 years atleast.

just dont let the rpm go past 2000rpm, you should be able to get 8km/l, you can also try to play with the invecs shifting, 1st gear uo to 20km, 2nd gear upto 30km, 3rd gear upto 40km, 4th gear up to 50km, then 5th past 60 kms..give it a try.
