WOW! I like your wheels bro! Parang stock na "high-end." Di ko maexplain basta yan ang mga style ng mags na gusto ko. It doesn't look like a GLS talaga... mahirap na talaga madeterming kung anong variant ang owned mo unless you get inside the vehicle or look for the rear emblem. KEWLNESS! Parang mas mataas pa na variant look ng MS mo ngayon.

congrats sa mga new and future owners ng mitsu montero. i myself nagandahan sa porma. kahit i-launch na ang 2008 fortuner i bet mas marami pa rin ang kukuha ng montero. aesthetics lang kasi halos ang binago sa fort. i guess our streets will be flooded with monteros by next year. also, for those who will line up, better be ready to wait, say 6 mos kung humaba na pila. just like what happened to me in 2005 wherein the fortuner was selling like hotcakes..

    5) TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
    6) Rear fog lamp
    7) Wood grain accent (for GLS SE) v.s Titanium accent (GLS)
    8) Backup sensors

Is it worth the difference in price? Personally, I think it is worth it.
-> yup its worth it.. especially the Limited Slip Differential..
The main advantage of a limited slip differential is by considering the case of a standard (or "open") differential where one wheel has no contact with the ground at all. In such a case, the contacting wheel will remain stationary, and the non-contacting wheel will rotate freely—the torque transmitted will be equal at both wheels, but will not exceed the threshold of torque needed to move the vehicle, and thus the vehicle will remain stationary. In everyday use on typical roads, such a situation is very unlikely, and so a normal differential suffices. For more demanding use, such as driving in mud, off-road, or for high performance vehicles, such a state of affairs is undesirable, and the LSD can be employed to deal with it. By limiting the angular velocity difference between a pair of driven wheels, useful torque can be transmitted as long as there is some friction available on at least one of the wheels.

With a normal, or "open" diff, if one tire loses traction and spins, the engine will send all of it's power to the wheel that slips... and none to the tire that actually has enough traction to propel the car. Replacing the diff with an LSD will reduce this tendency and put more power to the non-slipping wheel and less is wasted on spinning the other tire.

When properly adjusted, it allows for better acceleration in the corners. If there is too strong a limited-slip effect, then both the inside and outside wheels will try moving at the same speed, or close to it; almost like having no differential at all.

to the MS owners, have you tried connecting your USB port to your ipods? can we choose the songs through the ipod or do we have to control it via the head unit?

Yes you can use the USB port of the JVC headunit + the supplied USB cable of the iPod. You can't control the iPod once it is connected thru the usb. You can control it by selecting the source of the Headunit and pressing 1 to show the playlist of your iPod

just to let you know montero owners, when using the shift othe fly 4H, release your foot on the gas pedal and shift to neutral, then shift to 4h...you'll be on 4wd high already. then put the transmission to D.

What do we really have to do that? Sa xtrail ko you can shift to 2WD, real time 4WD or full time lock 4WD, and v-v in just pushing buttons while you are running on D, 2, or L.

Nafeel niyo ba when shifting to drive medyo umaangat ng konti yung likod ng MS? Then shift it back to Neutral, naglelevel yung sasakyan? Tapos sa Reverse naman medyo naglolower ng konti yung rear ng MS
