di ba ang montero sport mga nasa 2m ang price nun? eh pano pa kaya kung ilabas pa nila tong bagong montero sport (or whatever its real name is..) eh di mas mahal pa pala toh sa fortuner kung ganun! ano kaya pangalan ng suv na ito pagnilabas dito? sana strada wagon nalang... kasi parang masyadong mahal pag montero ang name nya. hahaha!

Sorry for not sharing your enthusiasm about this, but (IMO) from the spyshots it looks NASTY! Sort of like a cheap cut-and-paste combination of the Outlander front end, Strada wheelarches and Fuzion body/taillights. I can't believe how they got the styling so horribly wrong when the Strada is easily the best looking out of all the asian-market pickups.

As a take from exTememan's post, para makamura if based from something more familiar. Tingin ko Fortuner lang naman target nila nito. Is like what happen to the Adventure taking on the Toyota FX of old but this time the battle is in the mid-size SUV market.

Sadly, at least in the Philippines, Mitsubishi has been reduced to the role of just undercutting the top-selling Toyota models.

the last price of the local Montero Sport before it was phased out was 1.6M in line with the Fortuner V 3.0... knwing MMPC since they want to cut throat the competition, im sure na ayaw sila mag paiwan after a 3 year delay with toyota gobbling the market...

im sure a question that everyone has in mind is: "why didnt mitsubishi think about this in the first place?" with this, in fairness... i agree with Gerbo. I'm waiting for MMC to be trendsetter again.

as for the styling, il give my comments once i see the actual unit.
