it's either you go bling bling or the offroad loo. personally im gonna go for the offroad look so i'll just wait for my MS to go through the break in period, then i'll be putting in 285/75/16 AT tires, maybe a nudge guard with foglights, available thru carryboy, spoiler(just wait), maybe a roof carrier, window visors, maybe the list will get longer as accessories become readily availble after a few months..

yes the tires of the MS is same as the pajero, 17s....i'm just waiting for the break in period then will change to 16s with 285/75/16 AT tires. the MS and strada have the same under pinnings, and i read in the strada forum here in tsikot that it can swallow 33s without adding inches to the stock suspension.

It would be great to dress up this vehicle para mas Astig. What accessories are currently available? A rear spoiler would do wonders to the back end.

There's not much in terms of accessories. Yung floor mats nga to follow pa eh. I asked if they have rain guards available and was told in 2 weeks' time daw.

just wanted to ask if carryboy has alreday come out with its line of products for the new montero? have you seen a nudge guard for the montero in the market already? im actually waiting if carryboy will come out with a polyurethane "bullbar" type guard... dont know what its called... but ive seen some fortuners and alterras sporting them... if carryboy indeed comes out with it, it will help give the montero a "meaner" and more agressive look up front...

Arkuo, do you have pics of this "bullbar" type guard on a fort or even on an alterra? Sa dinami dami ng mga fort sa kalye, parang I can't remember any of them sporting something like this? Planning to get this din sana on my MS if carryboy has them....

Leonleon, here's a pic of the hliux with the carryboy front guard... i've seen alterras and fortuners sporting these...



if carryboy comes out with one of these for the montero sport, it will add depth to the rather flat front end... it will definitely give the montero a meaner and more agressive look up front....

Thanks for the pic arkuo14, and yes, it's new to me as I've never seen these before.... or baka I just don't notice. I agree with you, though, that it will look good on the MS. Any idea how much yung ganyan ng Hilux?

a lot of the accessories for the strada can be used for the montero as well, nudge guards, rims and tires, will fit both vehicles, for the floor mats, i always order the 3m cut away that are are cut to exact size and fit of the vehicle, 3 rows. it costs around 3,500 for the whole set, it will take 3 days to cut, i ordered it last week, so i expect it to arrive this week.

try to check the carryboy websit, www.carryboyphil.com, i like the nudge guard with the goglights, i am not sure if they have all in stock but you can also try miggyboy.com, they also have products similar to carruboy but a much cheaper price.

Went to Subic via NLEX and SCTEX yesterday. Maximum of 120KPH. Solid ride. Very comfortable. FC on the computer read 11.4km/li. My city driving both on manual method and computer were 8.7 km/li. I've been following advice of not pushing the tachometer beyond 2000 RPM. The INVECS seems more responsive than automatic mode obviously but I think that this makes it more economical too especially in city driving. One thing for sure as I've said in my previous post, this ain't a getaway car.

advisable ba magpalit agad ng mags even if hindi pa nabebreak in yung montero? I'm planning to change my rims to 20 inch pag ka kuha ko ng unit sa fri.. I waited for 12 days after my deposit para ma release yung unit.. Is it true na yung cooling system daw ng gls se mas maganda compared to gls mas malamig daw kahit nakatigil yung ride? Nagpunta kasi ako sa dealer sa cavite yun yung sinabi diff. bet. gls and gls se

What did you agent tell you?

Before I got mine, I got the agent to commit a delivery date. He told me he can deliver within the week the bank issues the P.O. So my bank issued the P.O. last Wednesday and I got the unit last Friday. But then I got a color (cool silver) that is not much in demand, I guess. The more in demand colors of the Montero are black and red. HTH
