Nagpunta kasi ako sa dealer sa cavite yun yung sinabi diff. bet. gls and gls se
I doubt they will make two different AC systems for the 2 trims. Or baka naman hindi pa auto climate control yung lower variant?

the difference maybe is that the gls aircon controls are manual, while the gls se are elctronic controls, so faster cooling...that is probably what the sales was pointing to about the montero aircon.

    mig,

i guess it's ok to change to 20s because me, i just did today, after 6 days and 150kms of driving...., maybe 2 to 3 years down the road, i'll shift to the offroad look again.

Hello Everyone! Been posting before at the Strada forum and been saving up for one.. Just want to share my experience yesterday at Mitsubishi Balintawak.. I was ready to buy the Strada gls sports and this black montero caught my eye.. Now it's the Montero am getting soon..

    Some questions for owners..
    FC?
    Top Speed?
    Responsive Engine?
will a single din monitor fit? If not then how to put one and where?

Been used to my civic 07 for quite awhile so am just worried with the torque and speed..

    Thanks Everyone

Hi everybody. Just wanted to ask if the auto climate aircon in the SE has any advantage over the manual a/c of the gls variant? I've been thinking that both variants have the same cooling capacity, am i right? Want to estimate kasi if sulit ang price diff. betwen the gls and the se. TIA guys.

Check out the September issue of C! magazine. The Montero Sport is on the cover! I think the grill on the cover picture looks better than the stock grill we have in our country.

I am guessing the C! shoot was done in Thailand.

For SE model you get these additional:

    1) Climate Control A/C
    2) All leather seats
    3) Hybrid LSD (Limited Slip Differential)
    4) 8-way power adjustable driver's seat
    5) TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
    6) Rear fog lamp
    7) Wood grain accent (for GLS SE) v.s Titanium accent (GLS)
    8) Backup sensors

Is it worth the difference in price? Personally, I think it is worth it.

I thought these were dealer options based on the brochure.

limited slip differential or LSD usually makes sense sa mga offroaders. but it's also a safety system which is good to have and you'll actually never notice. technically, kung ang isang gulong mo ay nabalaho or na stuck sa isang slippery area (like mud or sand), the LSD "transfers" the power to its opposite non-slipping tire. without LSD, the differential will only give as much torque/power to the slipping tire. so hindi gagalaw yung sasakyan mo kung walang LSD.

so sa price difference na 160k, LSD plus other amenities mentioned, pwede na!
