I had my brake pad replace front and rear 1200 sa front and 750 sa rear rspec ang brand, kung sa casa ka madugo ang presyo

Sirs, tuwing kailan ba palit ng coolant ng casa? E yung brake fluid and power steering fluid?

Rspec? Ang panget. Parang walang preno yung isa naming car. Kapag binigla mo, ayaw kumapit.

We are already at 49.3k, kaunti nalang at mag 50k na. We are planning to do it outside kasi wala naring warranty.

Would you Sirs recommend to change brake fluid and coolant at 50k? Or dapat mas maaga.

Yung coolant sold at gas stations, premixed na ba yun? Or do we still need it to mix with 50% water?

By 40K kms dapat nagpalit ka na ng ATF, coolant, power steering fluid, brake fluid and gear oil. 2x ka na din dapat nagpalit ng Fuel filter, and in my case 5x na nagpalit ng oil filter. That is according sa service booklet/mitsu recommendation but nasasayo kung gus2 mo papalitan.

Coolant na premix nakalagay dun sa label, kung kailangan i mix nakalagay din dun. Petron and Caltex I believe has a premix coolant and the ones that you need to dilute

1) pwede ka mag mineral lang ulit at di naman masyado gamit MS mo. tapos sa 10k, 20k, 30k ka na mag synthetic, top up na lang in between
2) any brand will do basta SAE 15W 40. common brands ay yung turbo xp ng casa, royal purple, mobil, top1, caltex delo 400...etc. mag back read ka sa thread ng mineral, synthetic o fully sythetic oil, marami ka mababasa na information dun
3) brands like baldwin (bd28), bosch, fleetguard are common. mag back read ka sa thread ng bypass oil filtration, marami ka mababasa na information[/I]

does anyone know if pwede bang gamitin yung baldwin BF7534 na fuel filter for a 2009 4D56 montero? nag order kasi ako eh hindi ako sure kung tama inorder ko hehe...

if your oem filter is 1770A053, the equivalent Baldwin filter would be BF7535. It has different Thread with BF7534.

correct ka po sir ezrydre...

the BF7534 didn't fit well. makapal kasi yung gasket so hindi nag-aabot yung thread. actually similar thread siya with the OEM kasi i tried pag walang gasket sumasara naman siya.

i dunno kung paano nagawa nung iba na mapagkasya yung BF7534 pero para sa akin ayaw talaga eh hehe... ang nangyari pinabalik ko na lang ulit yung luma kong OEM filter.

pinapalitan ko na lang ng yung baldwin ko ng fleetguard FF5159... ito daw yung cross ng BF7535. sana naman magkasya na.

yup sir ezrydre you are correct... the BF7534 WON'T FIT. just tried installing it awhile ago. and actually similar thread sila pero makapal yung kasamang gasket so hindi umaabot yung thread. pag walang gasket sumasara naman sya.

it's 19.05mm and 20 mm

case to case, 34 ang gamit ko sa 2011 gtv ko, wala naman naging problem. 2 pcs 34 na actually. but i think once i use 35, which is tighter, malamang hindi na pwede yung 34 .

case to case nga sir eh. yung 2009 gls ng tropa change oil and fuel filter, nung papalitan na namin yung fuel filter(7534). ayaw kumagat, so i opened a new one( 7535, buti may dala ako), pasok. when i got home, change fuel filter din ako, i used the one na ayaw kumagat dun sa monty nung tropa, pasok pa din sakin, kaya so far so good yung sakin sa 7534. bottomline, pang monty is 7535 to be safe.

I think BF7534 came to use because some of the earlier thread messages showed problems w/ the 7535 something to do with the fuel pressure (?) even though their specs are the same, can't remember whether it was on the mitsu or engine and fuel system thread. Too many threads to back read ;). Currently using the 7534 with no issues.

Sharing our 1K PMS cost at Diamond Motors Valle Verde. Total 5.3K (Turbo XP). Ride is Monty GLX. BTW, dapat Citi Makati kami kasi dun galing yung unit, kaya lang nung tumawag kami dapat daw senthetic oil otherwise ma void ang warranty (really BS). Samantalang sa Diamond, proactive sila magsabi kung ano gusto mo (mineral or senthetic) at nag explain pa ng pros and cons.

Same as mine sir zix. 1k pms sa dmvv. Allowed kang pumunta sa working bay nila. However, hindi ka pwedeng mag stay dun ng matagal for safety purposes, i think. Tatawagin ka naman sa waiting area kung irerequest mo sa SA mo na gusto mo makita ung pagpapapalit, once nagstart ung pms ng unit mo.

Just had our 50k PMS today outside casa.
Things we did :

1. Change oil and filter (using Idemitsu 5w40 and OEM filter)
2. Drained coolant reservoir and replaced coolant
3. Checked and cleaned rear brakes

The mechanic told me na ok pa daw power steering fluid and brake fluid so instead na ipadrain ko na sana today, next PMS nalang siguro. Malinis pa naman daw. He also told me na hindi naman "palitin" ang power steering fluid so pwede naman daw iskip yun as long as na malinis pa ito. Regarding coolant, my initial plan is to drain the whole cooling system (reservoir and radiator) pero i forgot to bring distilled water for a 50/50 mix ratio, so yung reservoir nalang muna.

I also personally cleaned the rear brakes kasi may squeak sound upon pedal release. Test ko later kung wala na.
Regarding EGR cleaning, papalinis ko sana sa kanya kasi may hydraulic wrench sila pero hindi ko naintindihan sinabi niya haha. Ayun hindi ko tuloy napalinis EGR. Baka mag italian tune up nalang ako for that

To those who drained their radiator, did you find sediments inside? At what odometer reading did you perform it?

*Zix Sir, how much for the aircon filter? Napagusapan namin ni erpats na ipalinis yung aircon and nabanggit ko sa kanya na walang cabin filter yung montero. He told me to install one haha.
