I just had 1k PMS of my montero gls v sa citimotors alabang, mineral oil lang muna pinalagay ko, 1700 yung mineral oil, 2900 lahat inabot. Sa 5k pms na ko mag fully synthetic

ganun din sakin sa CTMA mga P3k din. although tinanong k car care kit nila na P245, oil dw yun pang lubricate hinges and locks.inspected it nothing done though ;)

Note that BF7534 is not compatible with my 2011 GLS V. Was told by zix it should be BF7535.

all monty upto 2011 model will have no issues on 7535. i am using 7534 on my 2011 gtv and never had any issues, but already had some fitting issues on my officemate's monty, 2009, 2011 plus sir prince's.

that means late batches of 2011 to present will never have any issues with the 7535 irregardless of any variant?

2008-2011 will have no problem with 7535

2012- present uses the filter element that has a built-in casing and 7535 wont be fit

2012- present uses the filter element that has a built-in casing and 7535 wont be fit

Change my SCV after 35k on odo, bought it from casa through the mechanic its 10taw, kung idaan sa casa 15taw but he gave me only 1 mnth warranty, dont know if i did right

Sir sakin na lang yung SCV mong pinagpalitan? Nasa iyo pa ba? Bayaran kong 500. I want to study it. Yung SCV ng D4D NG INNOVA we already found a way kung pano ayusin pag nag stick na sya at d na nag function ng maayos. Kung same ang design ng SCv ng DiD mas makakatipid tayo kesa palitan agad. Yung Scv ng d4D ayaw ng mag function properly dahil sa water contamination at bad fuel nag stick at ayaw na umandar ng hi lux. After the mod/ repair to the scv good as new na.

Sir try using 2T to preserve or lengthen the life of fuel system parts ng 4D56 engine. But pinaka importante is fuel up sa kilala o suking gas station. Fuel contamination kasi number 1 cause ng pagkasira nyan. Out of warranty na ba yan sir? 35k pa lang dapat free pa replacement ng scv kung nasira if under 3 years old sya. Search nyo dito sa tsikot forums 2T diesel engine to get more info

Exhaust gas recirculation valve. I suggest you just let the casa take care of that during PMS iy you are not mechanically inclined. Alam naman nila sched nun. 15K PMS yata. Ako I cleaned my Egr valve at 10k OCI . Medyo makapal na soot kasi wala naman nagbebenta ng euro 4 diesel sa probinsya na malapit sa amin.A good socket wrench with a 12 and 14 bit is used. Ginamitan ko rin ng bench vice nung tangal na sya para tangalin yung valve sa piping nya.

2012 glx m/t yung s amin acquired June 2012, ganyan din yung fuel filter. Do you just replace the filter element. Meron bang after market equivalent ito?

Did some research and good news for all 2012 and above Monty owners, I found out that the fuel filter/pump assembly being used in our ride is similar to hilux , and i guess its also same for Innova and fortuner cause it uses the same engine. You just need to replace the fuel filter element inside the filter housing. Kung bibili kayo outside Casa sa mga auto supply ng fuel filter just ask them for fuel filter ng hilux,(1kd,2kd engine).
*monty_GTV thanks a lot for the pics you posted. It helped a lot sa paghahanap ko. Toyota part number for fuel filter element is 23390OL041 (23390-OL041). Instructions on how to clean fuel filter assembly and replace filter element:

location of the fuel filter in the monty is driver side inside engine bay above the wheel the beside the brake masters. Maganda pala yung filter element na ito kasi activated carbon ang gamit kaya inupgrade ng MITSU.

it's no surprise for mitsubishi to use toyota parts. Parepareho lang kasi parts supplier ng toyota at mitsubishi thailand. Yung Power side mirror switch nga sa monty natin Toyota made . I saw it nung magbaklas ako ng dash cover to install some switches.
