July 15th, 2009 10:16 AM #141you are right sir, there is a problem with the rotor head and pad of my monty, though it was oem. The casa replaced it as promised without charge and an accompanying apology for my inconvenience. Fair enough. I'm past 11k now on my km reading and so far so good. I sometimes hear the "thud" though.

I'm about to have my first PMS (1000km) at Mitsubishi Otis on Wednesday, any heads up I need to know? quality of service? Do I have to look out for something new besides what was posted on this thread?
Has there been a change of pricing? is it still the same? I might just go for the synthetic route to avoid any hassle.

July 28th, 2009 05:29 PM #144sir, i went to mitsu otis this morning to have my 1st PMS, sadly, I was not able to have it kanina. the reason is, close. according to the guard, naka strike daw ung mga gumagawa. they are asking for salary increase. i asked when will they resume their service they were not able to say a tentative day. so if i were you, might as well go to different casa for your PMS.

medyo malayo for you but try to consider diamond c5...look for sir nani, very accomodating service advisor. bring your unit before 8am, then you are good to go before 11. and i think diamond charges is just aok, they are just invoicing the actual qty of oil that is used (say 8 liters for a 2.5li engine). unlike others, which i just read from posts, 9 liters for that smaller engine. 9li is supposed to be for the 3.2, but others put 10. sana nga talaga nilagay, but what if on paper or service invoice only?
then ask to give you back the 8th li can or bottle (as actual qty that can be used is less than 8 li). you can use that for top up on your 5K Km check.

Um... I have a service appointment with Mitsubishi Alabang already for tomorrow. And also, Diamond C5 is a bit far for me. Nevertheless, if the service there is really good, next time, I might go to them. In any case, thank you for the tips. I just have to be vigilant with regarding to what they want for the car.

sir gab i just had my 10k PMS last thursday... it cost me P9015.00.
they used 8 liters of turboXP oil (may natira pang kaunti na magagamit pa for my 15k topup), replaced the oil filter, engine flushing, fuel additive, and had other checkups done. P2500.00 ang singil nila sa labor (10k is medium maintenance period).
