just asked them (mitsu marcos hiway) last week if i could use mineral oil and just have it replaced after 5000 kms...
the SA told me that the mitsu plant says they only recommend using fully synthetic oil and nothing else. so then my SA said yes i could use mineral oil BUT my warranty will be voided.
of course i don't want my engine warranty voided. so i had no choice but to go fully synthetic and cough up nine thousand buckeroos for my 10k km checkup.
does this apply to all mitsubishi service centers? or just at marcos hiway? or does it just depend on the SA?

that was also my experience during my 1K PMS, personally i prefer the mineral sana till 5K then will switch to FS after but the sales advisor insisted too that since the 3.2 commonrail is more advance, the plant come up with the memo to use only FS blah blah haha so i ended using the turbo xp over the other recommended and cheaper motul crdi para wala na lang isyu if ever engine warranty claim comes around

hmm... immobilizer? haven't really tried that one.
though there was one time i left my keys inside. closed the doors then opened them after a minute.
the alarm blared and i tried starting the engine. it won't start. maybe that's the immobilizer working... nice!
a nifty trick... or does our OEM immobilizer have some more up its sleeve other than this one?
