Just want to get clarification - which VIC replacement oil filter for a 2.5L GLS-V is applicable: C-306 or C-313?
I have read elsewhere in this thread that it is the C-306 while others say its the C-313.
Which is the right replacement part?

    * SEQ ganun din sa akin after the pms, looks like nag adjust sila ng parking break cable.mga 3 to 4 clicks na lng.a rule yata sa ibang thread pag 7 clicks above you should have it adjusted o pag nakaturo na parking break mo sa taas .

Goodevening Sirs. Im nearing the 40k kms mark on the odo.
Im planning to have it serviced on our suking gas station since out of warranty narin yung car.

    Thanks!

    A/T FLUID CHANGE

Caution Before replacing the transmission with a new one, overhauling the existing transmission, or connecting the cooler pipe to the transmission, the A/T fluid cooler line should always be flushed out.

In you have an A/T fluid changer, use the A/T fluid changer to flush the A/T fluid. If you do not have an A/T fluid changer, follow the procedure given below.

1.Remove the hose shown in the illustration which allows the A/T fluid to flow from the A/T fluid cooler to the transmission.
2.caution The engine should be stopped within one minute of it being started. If the A/T fluid has all been discharged before this, stop the engine at that point.

Start the engine and discharge the A/T fluid.
    Driving conditions: N range, idling
    Discharge amount: Approx. 3.5 L

3.Remove the drain plug at the bottom of the transmission case to drain out the remaining A/T fluid.
    Discharge amount: Approx. 2.0 L

4.Install the drain plug with new gasket in between, and tighten it to the specified torque.
    Tightening torque: 32 ± 2 N·m

5.caution Stop pouring in the A/T fluid once 5.5 L has been poured in.
Pour the new A/T fluid in through the oil filler tube.
Amount to add: Approx. 5.5 L

6.Repeat the operation in step 2.

7.Pour in new A/T fluid through the oil filler tube.
Amount to add: Approx. 3.5 L
note Carry out steps 2 and 7 so that at least 8.0 L has been discharged from the cooler hose. After this, discharge a small quantity of A/T fluid and check for contamination. If the A/T fluid is contaminated, repeat steps 6 and 7.

8.Connect the hose which was disconnected in step 1, and then securely re-insert the oil level gauge.

9.Start the engine, and let it run at idle for 1 - 2 minutes.

10.Move the selector lever to all positions once, and then return it to the N position.

11.Check that the A/T fluid level on the oil level gauge is at the COLD mark. if it is not up to this mark, add more A/T fluid.

12.Drive the vehicle until the A/T fluid temperature reaches the normal temperature (70 - 80°C), and then re check the A/T fluid level.
note The COLD mark is for reference only; the HOT marks should be used as the standard for judgement.

note A/T fluid temperature using M.U.T.-III.

note Check the fluid level referring to the characteristics chart shown, if it takes some time until reaching the normal operation temperature of A/T fluid (70 - 80°C.)

13.When A/T fluid is under the specified level, top up A/T fluid. When A/T fluid is over the specified level, drain the excessive A/T fluid from the drain plug to adjust A/T fluid level to the specified level.

14.Securely insert the oil level gauge into the oil filler tube.

You might want to replace this parts:
    GASKET,A/T OIL PAN DRAIN PLUG PN# MN113518

    And buy this:
    LIQUID GASKET,A/T PN# MD974421

Sir prince777, maraming salamat ho sa step by step procedures. Well detailed pa haha.
We're planning to do this this june para wala nang hassle sa pasukan.

    Thanks Sir.

I would suggest to use the ATF SPIII sir over Dexron III. They might be the same transmission fluid but they have friction coefficient in which SPIII is better.

Just had my 1k check up at Diamond Motors Quezon Avenue. I arrived at 7am, actual work started at 8:30am, on my way home by 11:30pm.
    2012 GLX non VGT M/T
    Here's the breakdown:

7 Liters Engine Oil (mineral) 1708.00
    Filter 1042.72
    Varsol 95.54
    Car Care Kit 280.00
    Rags 11.99
    Diesel Treatment 259.99

    Total: 3398.30

Inabot sakin yung Diesel Treatment Additive, pero I have no intention of using it. Masaya nako sa diesel ng Seaoil.

First time namin try sa Monty.

Sir thanks for the fast reply.
I read sa ibang threads na kumakain daw ng rotor ang general ct, more daw kung metal kings.
What can you say about this sir?
Lastly sir, do bendix brakes also have the warning device found on OEM brakes? Based kasi sa pic, wala ako nakita.
    Thank you again sir Otep.

We regularly check the rotors and pads at every oil change. So far, no rotor eating mayhem. Maybe it happens on smaller cars with smaller brake rotors? Most rigs here are vans and suvs.

Dr. G's Car Clinic uses Metal Kings (and Aisin pads too) on units they work on. They are not affiliated nor a dealer of Bendix but the pads work well enough (they are a Land Cruiser specialist shop) for them to recommend.

Yes,, there is a warning tab on the pads po.

Thanks a lot Sir Otep. I'll check tomorrow sa Atco and maybe buy one din.
Now, i have testimonials to show him that Bendix is okay.
    Thanks again Sir.

Sirs, goodafternoon. Diaqueen costs 700/L while Mitsubishi at 550/L. Sinabi ko sa kanya kung parehas lang ba ang Dexron 3 sa SP3, and she replied na parehas lang daw yun. The difference is that yung SP3 is fully synthetic and Dexron 3 is ordinary. How true is this mga sirs?
