oo sir may mga stories kasi na hindi daw napalitan filter. preventive na lang din kahit nagpapa preventive maintenance tayo sa kanila.

Pansin ko din madalas sila nagsasamantala s 1000km pms at 5000km pms kasi nga bago pa sasakyan kahit di na palitan ng oil filter lusot na.. Pro d naman din panigurado lahat ginagawa un, kung parang mausisa ka sa casa kung ano gagawin sa sasakyan mo medyo distansya na sila sa bad ways..

kung di ka allowed na panoorin sa casa during PMS, you can put a mark in your oil filter and other consumables na pwede mo markahan. kung payag din sila na magdala ka ng sarili mong oil, have the excess oil be given back to you. kasi halimbawa dala mo 7li, meron dapat sobra na konti kasi less than 7li lang ang dapat ikarga. magagamit mo yan pang top-up kapag medyo mababa sa oil level ang oil reading mo. in my casa sa pangasinan, allowed ako manood so nakikita ko kung pinapalitan o hindi. inoobserbahan ko din yung ibang sasakyan na iniiwan ng owners, nakikita ko naman na pinapalitan talaga. kung may nangyayari man na mga hindi pinapalitan, katamaran yan nung mekaniko kasi kung nakasama naman sa resibo mo, binabayaran mo ay yung mitsu. so yung mitsu nakikinabang, hindi yung tamad na mekaniko.

Talaga po bang hinde illuminated yung gauge cluster nya unless buksan ko yung lights? Napansin ko lang kanina nung nagpapark ako sa mall at medyo madilim.

Pa-install ka ng optitron kay bossing zix para laging nakailaw yung gauges ng monty mo. Pag switch mo sa ignition illuminated na agad.

to all montero sport owners, this is a simple diy.check the original air filter, below the filter there is a thick foam pad held by 4 plastic washer you can removed it by stretching the pad side ways out the washer.now the air filter is unrestricted, more throttle response gain and turbo lag seems to be minimal.don't forget to clean the filter every 5000k or 1000k much better.enjoy.

Many thanks to sir zix888 for doing my EGR blanking and installing the cabin filter. Next time sir OCC at K&N naman.

Nakalimutan ko pala sir itanong yung installation ng backup sensors? May guide po kaya na available online? Also will any third-party sensor do? Nagtanong kasi ako sa Blade sabi nila kailangan splice at i-tap yung wire ng backup lights.

Chief mechanic, hindi pala yan naka clip lang sa pedal? need ba tanggalin yung stock na pedal?

sir miggy, kailangan nyo tanggalin yun rubber sa stock pedal and you need to drill hole. screw type po sya. pero mas ok sir kasi di sya basta maalis, for safety purposes din po.kung sakaling ayaw nyo na, just un-screw then ibalik nyo lang yun rubber.

Question is: do your engine gets cleaner air after removing the foam pad? OEM filters for monty was designed to filtrate air to serve as is. Removing anything from it to unrestrict air would defeat its purpose.

Sirs, question po. Yung gps sd card po ba insert lang po ba yun o naglolock sa slot? Sinubukan ko po sa unit ko, ayaw maglock at pwede hugutin lang. Dapat po ba pantay sa opening ng slot yung card o nakaalsa cya? Mukang nde nababasa card, nde po kasi ma-access yung navi menu. Yung slot po kaya ang problem o yung card? (Download lang from inav yung laman ng card.) TIA.

Push until it locks.

For GLX units, they wont work using downloaded map data from inav. Back read lang kayo sir, you might find out where to get the SD card.

to sir leinahtan, the air will be still be filtered by the remaining paper air cleaner, the extra foam pad below just restrict the air intake, if you are going to do this mod, just clean your filter every 1000km to be safe.enjoy this simple mod. : )

Lalakas nga hatak sir pero baka yung engine naman ang mag suffer kasi madumi yung air na papasok. Yung original airfilter ng monty is designed to use as it is and disposable sya. And yung mga performance airfilter naman like K&N, Simota at iba pang trusted 3rd party airfilter makers ay gumastos ng pang research & technology para ma achieve ang maximum airflow with minimal air contaminants pa-pasok sa engine and para pwedeng maging reusable.

agree with sir noroi, the oem air filter is disposable and not intended for longer use kasi nagdeteriorate yung filtering capability niya. pero kung ma-maintain mo to extend its service life then ok na rin but at certain interval, you really need to replace it. maaring nakakatipid ka nga but you are lessening the service life ng makina mo. remember that these filters are consumables na kailangan palitan periodically, its main use is for the purpose of preventing particles to enter your engine para humaba ang buhay. kahit yung mga washable ones, you need to replace them too kapag you see na hindi na ok yung filtering medium.

That's the problem sir, it won't lock kahit na ipush yung card. I've been back reading the forums here, pero wala pa kong nabasa na naka-encounter ng ganito. Do you think may problem sa card slot? Thanks.
