Mitsubishi Pajero Fieldmaster (Gen 2.5) [continued]

a bit OT since my rig is gen2:

last saturday, i tried cruising the skyway at 120kph. sadly, i wasn't able to reach said speed since my rig began belching smoke at 110kph. it doesn't normally belch at 80/90kph. 'had it checked today and the diagnosis was oil seal leak on my turbo. question is, would changing the oil seal and cleaning of the turbo/intercooler be enough or should i have the turbo replaced with surplus/replacement parts?

marami nagbebenta ng FM sa mga used car dealer, sulit, buyandsell.

Mas mabigat nga sir. Hows the drive after niyo mag change? Mabigat din po ba i-drive?
I also noticed that its 1" wider, but i was told na re-use of the stock tires ok na daw. Is this true?

Sir try mo muna replace lang oil seal at palinis. If hindi pa sira yung vanes puwede pa yan IMO. Mahal turbo eh. Baka di pa kelangan.

OT: Sa 6 spoke ako for CB's new shoes.

Although if ako, baka hindi ko na palitan yung ngayong gamit niya. Ok din sa akin yun eh. Ibili ko na lang nga ibang mods for the betterment ng engine or makakatulong sa FC.

RT, healthy pa naman engine ko now. although minsan nagbabawas parin ng tubig. pero sobrang bihira na ngayon hehe

kailangan ko nalang pa-engine wash and underchassis wash para malinis ulit lahat. and iwas rust na sa body

CB check mo yung water pump, baka me powder residue na yan. GMB water pump (aluminium impeller) is P1,450 when i replaced mine last year.

Di ka pa rin naka Decide bro? baka me mkabili nung Ralliart Web na yan... hehehe

* baby_scar, mura yung BF goodrich na yan and very hard to find. Just check the date of manufacture baka old stock na. Pero if new Ayus yan

Mga sirs napansin ko na medyo may moisture na nanggagaling sa power steering ko. Nagbabawasan din ang PS fluid ko pero mga 3 months inabot from Max to Min. Which parts kaya ang possible na kailangan palitan? Repair kit lang kaya? Any recommendations san kaya ok mag pagawa dito sa QC/Fairview area?

Medyo matrabaho ata mag repair ng power steering so magkano kaya ang tamang charge ng labor?

Most likely just the repair kit of the PS gearbox. Suggest you take your rig to Motorcraft in Amoranto QC. Call first or go early before 8am coz the waiting time there can get long. 02 4148633

boss, curious lang...dapat ba regular pinapalinis turbo and change oil seal? and kung saan shop na din....

brand new yan. i got a newer price. the kumho is around 6200 sa S&R. during store sall less 150. so 6050 the kumho..

the bf goodrich 6690 sa tire depot..

yokohama is around 6900 to 7100 sa s&r

Hi! I'm new here, I'm planning to buy a second hand Pajero, Gen 2.5 with a 4m40 engine, I would like to know if it is normal for this type of engine to have splashing oil when you remove the oil fill cap? While the vehicle is idling, all of the Pajeros I have seen have splashed oil when I opened the oil fill cap ; but no oil splashes out from the engine dip stick. The sellers say that it's normal, but I am having doubts that the engines of these Pajeros are about to give up, am I right or wrong?
