Ano bang effective way to increase fuel efficiency for our Pajero? Nag-aaverage lang kasi ako ng 4km+/liter city driving and mahal na masyado ng diesel.

I know makakatulong pag tinaasan ko tire pressure pero ano ba ang right ampint para di naman masyadong matalbog? I use Bridgestone na pareho ng stock tire and recommended tire pressure and sinusunod ko.

garci, lakas ng consumption ng rig mo. 4d56 or 4m40? AT or MT? Yung Gen 2.5 namin (4m40 MT 4x4) mga 7-7.5km/liter. 50/50 city and highway driving. When was the last time you changed oil? Check if the air filter needs replacing. kung wala pa din baka IP mo kailangan patignan

Yup malakas ang 4 km/l, worst ko 5.3 km/l sa 4m40 A/T with 4x4. Have your rig checked. Gear oils, tranny oils...

+1, if ok oil ng engine, tranny at differential pati yung fuel/fule filter and air filter malamang nga Injection pump. Grabe baba kasi IMO.

I know this can be DIY'd. Just need someone to help me go about it. Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks.

Its already summer based on the weather not PAGASA, why dont you just have your aircon cleaned up, and the leak your looking for be taken cared of by the professionals. 1.7K lang naman palinis, parang kalahating full tank...

blue_gambit, there's no noticeable decrease in the A/C's efficiency due to the external air going inside. Just want to eliminate it coz when there's a smoke belching jeep or bus in front the fumes go in via the driver side vent.

It must be the air recirculator vent, I dont know where it is in the local FM, maybe PB knows where it is. Siya nakita ko me pix ng baklas ng dashboard... hehehe

Paj, check mo iyong post ni PB sa archived section ng thread na ito. Anyway, nasa likod siya ng glove compartment. Bukas mo ang glove compartment at may makikita kang foam sa likod. Pag nalusaw na iyon diyan pumapasok ang hangin mula sa labas.

paj4x4, try to check kung talaga bang sa recirculate pumapasok by doing the perfume test. let me know kung pumasok yung amoy. spray ka lang perfume sa grill sa baba ng wipers habang naka on aircon, naka close dapat vents, isang taga spray sa labas then sa loob ka, para sure na walang papasok through the doors. another way to check is kung tumatakbo ka 100kph, pag naka off aircon may mapapansin kang hangin sa aircon vents na mahina,

Pag tumatakbo ang rig may hangin na pumapasok sa driver side a/c vent. Sa center at passenger side vents wala naman hangin na pumapasok. Sa recirculate switch ba problem non? Kaya ba i DIY?

Gawin ko yung perfume test mamayang hapon to be sure. Balikan kita dito sa board.
