Due for change coolant ka na nyan... I too use tap water lang, pero baka next time distilled na. ratio siguro 1 concentrated coolant sa radiator then 1 concentrated coolant reserve...

ingatan niyo mga radiator niyo, di ko din mainitindihan bakit sobrang bilis mag kalawang ng 4m40 compared sa ibang models, yearly na ko nag flushing and distilled water pa gamit ko with prestone, so far so good almost 12 years running, silipin niyo fins sa loob ng radiator daming calcium deposits, ayaw maalis.

even when using distilled water, there's still rust formation sir?

sir, next time na plan to come to manila, pa-lavramon ka na. every peso is worth it naman e hehe and you dont need to do it every year. siguro every 5 years lang pwede na.

i agree... drive around ka muna sir to check if ano problema, kapag mataas na temp pero hindi pa rin umiikot its either yung fan or yung sensor. i had my IC fan repaired 2 months ago cost me around 400pesos ata.

Tama sila Crazyboy at June.

And usually mga 40 yung nakalagay sa thermo na outside temp bago gumagana yan or 15 mins or warm-up ata so better do this after going from home to office or vice versa. Preferably with sunlight pa para sure ka.

mitsu007, im also using fully synthetic, mobil delvac1 saakin, dapat talaga every 5k palit kahit synthetic pa, kaso medyo mabigat kasi sa bulsa kaya ako every 10k narin , 700 per liter,, pero at 5k kms palit oem oil filter and top up ng mga 1 1/2 liter langis na synthetic uli. galing ako semi synthetic noon every 5k palit, a word of caution though yung all terrain ng petron if im not mistaken is 5w-30 viscocity malabnaw yan for our climate,
also pag hindi ka sure sa condition ng engine mo, dont shift to synthetic at once, pwede kasi niya matanggal yung mga dumi na nag seseaal sa ibang parts ng engine, after a few weeks makikita mo magkakaleak na mga gaskets mo, dahil ang fully synthetic mas maliliit molecules kaya mas madali makasingit. kung may existing kang oil leak sa engine lalong lalakas yun.
thank you for the advice, i sensed some improvement in engine power after the shift to fully synthetic kahit revx all terrain lang, i guess thats expected cause i used to put revx trekker, i will observe if there will be a leak in the coming weeks

i also am experiencing the same, but pardon my ignorance, i dont know which one is the radiator fan and intercooler fan, actually i can see 3 fans and only one is working i guess that is my radiator fan its the largest of the 3. There is this little fan and slightly above it is another fan which is bigger, which of those 2 is the intercooler fan? Does all the 3 fans have (heat) sensor?

yung intercooler fan sir yung nasa ilalim ng intercooler mismo... maliit lang siya visible from the side ng intercooler... yung intercooler sir yung radiator like device mounted on top of the engine (nakatapat sa hoodscoop)

may tatlo pa na fan sir sa paj natin

    1. main fan/radiator fan yung malaking sinasabi nyo
    2. aux fan for condenser (big) located sa likod ng front grill
    3. aux fan for condenser (small) located bandang baba sa likod nung chrome bumper

dapat sir lahat yan umaandar... diba umiinit ang a/c niyo kapag traffic?
