K&N air filter, how much po ba ito? im planning to put this on my paj in the near future... Mukang okey pa naman condition ng paj namin eh.. I made 158kmh sa coastal last night, onti nalang 160 na..

Gone, subukan mo ang Roadstar 896-2914 o 896-2913 para sa K&N filter. May branches sila sa Makati at Muntinlupa.

Galing sa Wikipedia- "A turbo timer is a device designed to keep an automotive engine running for a pre-specified period of time in order to automatically execute the cool-down period required to prevent premature turbo wear and failure. After a period of driving when a turbocharger has been working hard, it is important to let the engine run at idle speed for a period of time, allowing the compressor assembly to cool from the lower gas temperatures in both the exhaust and intake tracts. At the same time the lubricating oil from the engine is able to circulate properly so the turbine won't burn the lubricating oil that would otherwise be trapped within the charger with the turbine rotating at high speed. With regard to modern automotive turbochargers, the need for a turbo timer can be eliminated by simply ensuring the car does not produce any 'boost' (during driving) for several minutes prior to the ignition being shut off. Most turbo timers are based on digital electronics."

Nakabili ako dati sa Concorde sa mga SM Malls. Ok iyong sa kanila kasi exacto iyong laki niya sa blank switches sa Pajero kaya mukhang OEM.

It must be somewhat secluded or else hihigupin niya ay yung hot air sa engine bay.

I went for the drop in since its the easiest route...just drop in the new K&N filter. My rig's engine is bone stock. A simple drop in filter will do the job.

If you stay with the AT you'd be fine with road noise.

You're right ang hirap nga humanap ng BFG tires... hanap uli ng iba... hehehe

BG, try calling RYCO in Makati. I know they used to carry BFG's. Now they also carry Cooper STT's. Phone no 02 8161667 and 02 8161508.

Suggest you also look at Nitto Tires. I have them on my LC 80 (Terra Grappler AT's) - aggressive looking All Terrain Tires. Check out how it looks on www.nittotire.com. Its done almost 20k kms on my rig parang di pa rin nababawasan ang tread. On my Gen 2.5 I have Pirelli Scorpion ATR's - maayos din at matagal maubos. Although not as aggressive looking as the Nitto Terra Grapplers. By the way - Concept One along Santolan is the distributor of Nitto Tires.

Log on to www.4x4ph.com/forums. Go to the For Sale section. Look for the thread on K&N Filters started by carcas. He's selling the 38-9207 for P4.5k with free shipping.

Before ordering check if the 38-9207 fits the air box of your Gen 2.5. Local unit ba yung sayo?

paj4x4 is correct, punta ka lang sa 4x4ph kung hanap ka suv tires. if you want cooper(cheaper than BFG but less agressive) look for Caloy Legaspi. or if you want i can PM you his number.
