thanks guys for the replies. at least i have an idea before going to the shops. more power
shiopz, mahirap malaman unless may boost gauge ka, check for leaks sa turbo and listen for kakaibang sounds when you hit 2krpm. oh yeah mausok din pag tumakbo ka hiway ng 130kph
First time lang na calibrate yung sa akin.So after 80K + ang milyahe.
Promdiboy,
salamat sa inputs...i'll observe the behavior of the FM kung magpapakita ng mga ganung symptoms
san kaya makakahanap ng toolkit for fieldmaster? kasama na yung flashlight hehe
just to add to crazy boy's query, where can i find individual components of the toolkit? i lost the handle of screwdriver. thanks!
anyone tried Betan shop for nozzletip checking? any reviews and comments?
Quick question:
Our Fieldmaster Pajero has the suspension setting of Soft-Medium-Hard...for city driving...i guess its safe to always set it at Hard and only when we trail off road or less developed rural roadways then we set it to Soft or Medium, gents please confirm if my logic is correct.
The reason why im asking this, is because my gf inherited this fieldmaster from her mom and since then, they never touch the suspension settings...Default was set to Medium...since i often drive it when were together, she's hesitant on touching the settings and just leave everything as it is...my stand is, if you have this feature on your vehicle then why not use it? My gf's logic is "kasi baka lang hindi maganda in the long run masira agad shocks"..my stand is "mas less ang tagtag at baka mas makatulong pa sa FC ng konti kung nakahard setting while city driving"
I leave it to the guru's in this forum to confirm which is correct. thanks![]()
Normal driving conditions use medium(typical city driving with the occasional lubak), smooth long range highway driving i use soft(slex, nlex, sctex), pag mabigat ang kargada eg madami pasahero or gamit i use hard, pero super bihira lang.

Bihira naman namin punuin ang seating capacity...most of the time...its just me and my gf riding it...pero since i activated the Hard suspension setting, mas nabawasan yung alog namin.
Dati kasi when it was left at default which is medium, konting lubak or humps...talagang alog alog kami sa loob...much more siguro pag sinet ko pa sa soft.
The reason why naisip ko yung logic ng hard suspension setting could contribute a bit if not all to thriftier FC is because dati akong mountainbiker...Sa mga full suspension bikes kasi pag masyado soft setting mo, pagpedal mo instead na mabilis ang pagpropel mo forward lumulubog pa yung padyak mo..compared sa mga nakahard tail na mas madali mag gain ng forward momentum.
Over all hindi naman siguro nakakasama sa suspension yung pagpalit palit ng setting, what ever setting it was set to..it all boils down to the riding preference of the passenger (please correct me if im wrong). thanks
Sa Fc I doubt if it will have any effects sa handling meron. I usually drive on the soft setting para yung maliit na road imperfections suttle, pero when when entering a fast curve I switch to hard (40-60kph) para di mag lean yung body to the side then go back to soft... trip lang hehehe![]()
Well actually yun choice ng setting ko is based dun sa suggestion sa owners manual so far ayos din naman sakin.
i use HARD, maalog at nakakahilo ang SOFT and MEDIUM.
but that's me...

Ako I always use medium, naghahard din sko paminsan.
Mga sir, san po ba pwede makabili ng emblem(not sure with the spelling) for pajero? TIA
