October 30th, 2008 03:47 PM #2751bro umaandar yung pajero nung tinest ko yung fan sa ilalim intercooler,nirekta ko cya d gumagana then pinaikot ko sa finger ko gumana,naisip ko tuloy na bka yung hangin na galing sa hoodscope ang tumutulong mgpaandar nun,kasi other fan irekta mo lng andar agad ngtataka nga ako bkit need p ng help ng finger bgo cya umandar pki try n lng bro syo kung pareho experience natin thanks

October 30th, 2008 06:03 PM #2752Pre, i had problems before with the intercoller fan. dapat if direct connection dapat gumana yng fan. try to pull out the sensor and clean or spray wd40 sa mga connectors. but if you say gumana yng fan with the help of the ur hand rotating it, then may i suggest u pull our the fan and have it clean, baka kailangan lng palitan yng carbon brush.

fcuyugan, I think tama sinabi ni Pajman, carbon brush na yan. pag kailangan ng tulak bago umandar. it defeats the purpose of the fan, its supposed to run kapag naka stop tayo and walang air flow. sa 4wd indicator, try mo muna laruin ng laruin. baka stuck up lang. though Ive read before that running 100kph for a few seconds solves this problem. kung stuck up lang. di ko pa natry but nabasa ko lang.
badsektor, afaik iba ang taillights ng gen 2 and gen 2.5. curved yung gilid ng gen 2, while sa gen 2.5 diretso siya, para mag match sa blister fender, goodluck sa compressor, sana nga maremdyohan pa. update mo kami anong nasira. but kung half the price na ang cost ng repair I would get bnew na.
check din natin timming chain natin kung meron kakaibang sound, hindi birong damage yung maputulan ng timming chain. I never thought na pwede pala bumigay yun, hintay natin andrewbugs mag comment paano nangyari.

October 31st, 2008 02:34 AM #2754thanks sa lahat ng ngreply,cguro nga patcheck ko carbon brush.ano ba trabaho ng intercooler?about dun sa blinking lights parang stock up nga lng kasi minsan namamatay naman cya tapos mgbiblink nanamn.one day nga binunot ko n lng sa ilalim sensor plug kasi nakakairita yung blinking lights pero binalik ko ulit para mkita ko kung babalik sa normal.may ask p sana ako mga guru.my naririnig akong unwanted sound sa mkina pg walang aircon parang sa bandang pulley,then pg nag aircon ako lumalakas yung ingay,i thought yung aux fan yung umiingay,i try to switch off the engine and turn on the aircon gumana yung fan pero wala nmang ingay,nirekta ko din dalawang fan wala nmn ingay,so wala sa fan,sa pulley kya galing yung sound pag nageengage ang aircon dahil ngkaka load or sa bearing ng compressor,what do you think?one thing more pareho kmi naencounter nung isang ngpost dito pg nakapark lng ng matagal mdyo umiinit aircon,pg tumatakbo e sobrang lamig naman,gumagana namn yung dalawang aux fan ko,ano nga kya problem nun,wala kyang epekto yung fan sa intercooler?

fcuyugan, bro afaik pag mahina na lamig ng aircon either kulang na ng freon (slow leak, check yung glass window sa receiver drier dapat parang clear water siya, pag maputi and bubbly kulang na.) or mahina na bomba ng compressor. pag mahina ang buga ng hangin ng aircon madumi lang evaporator mo. sa shop ng friend ko meron siya super laking air compressor, paminsan minsan inaalis ko yung grill and binubugahan ko condenser, intercooler, AT cooler and radiator, magugulat ka sa kapal ng alikabok.
pwede rin maging cause to sa pag hina ng lamig pag clogged condenser mo. pag ayaw parin kailangan mo na pacheck. yung ingay I cant comment, dami panggalingan. purpose ng intercooler is lower the air tempreture ng intake natin. cooler air = more power. pag dumaan kasi yung hangin sa turbo iinit siya dahil mainit ang housing ng turbo dahil nakadikit sa exhaust. plus pinepresurize pa niya yung intake kaya iinit, dont worry too much sa intercooler, ok parin naman and turbo diesel kahit walang intercooler, mas efficient lang

October 31st, 2008 10:47 AM #2757bad trip mga tol. nasira yung alternator ko sa paj 2 nights ago. galing kami sa city pauwi na ng bukid at biglang di nagstart at nawawala na yung ilaw, mahina ang wiper at umiilaw na yung control panel ko at on-off anf radio. gabi at ulan pa naman. kakapalit ko lang ng battery nung monday kasi akala ko battery may problema kaya nagulat ako ng biglang tumirik.

This has happen to me with my Gen2 Montero guam version. Any how there's this miss conception that timing chain is a lifetime. Nasisira din ito but if you know how to maintain it properly this may have prevented just the same with the timing belt. There is this shop in Multi national Parnaque city owned by Mr Joseph Atotubo Pajero specialist Hindi ko pa sya nasubukan but I've been hearing a lot good things about this guy. I have schedule with him next week with my FM.
