    Sir, masyadong mababa ang mileage nyo sa highway. Around 12-14Km/L ata dapat. Yung iba aabot pa daw ng 16. Baka sira lang yung computer sa dash. By the way, yung computation ko sa 2010 Strada GLX is with 31x10.5r15 tires on 15x9 wheels (same over-all diameter as the stock tires of the Montero Sport and roughly the same tire and wheel weight; 25 lbs each for wheels tapos 40 lbs each for tires).

    OO nga mine .. all stocks pa GLX FC was 14 using an RP Fully Synthethic. I downgraded to Petron Trekker (need to do this to test and I have stocks kasi ng Trekker rin kasi given by Petron), the FC 35%-City and 65%-Hiway using Trekker is about 13.5 to 13.7Km a liter; not that bad but I will go back to RP when I hit my 20K PMS. Will I go back to Trekker again - yes I will in case ma out of stock ang RoyalPurple..

    Good Day.

    Newbie here.

    Help naman po. Comparing ASX (2.0) MT and Montero Sport (2.5) MT, sobrang laki ba ng difference sa fuel consumption?

    Thanks!

    City Driving: 8.2 to 9.6 km/liter
    before the 1st 1000 km.
    Fuel: Petron Turbo Diesel

    What are your experiences using Shell V-Power Diesel? Closest to my location is Petron but have long used Shell for my gas powered cars.

    10.2kpl (ave. 6mos of use, province driving, ave of 20km per day, but combination of 4x2 & 4x4 uses), and sometimes I used paddle shifters.
    I hope you can partially refer on this kasi SE yung gamit ko.

    Just acquired '11 Lancer EX GLX last 12/21 * Carworld Pampanga.

    City (Christmas Traffic) = 7-9km/l (Ave Speed = 5-10km/h) i dunno basta clog sobra bagal
    Mixed = 11-13km/l (Ave Speed 20-25km/h) Actual Speed = 40-60km/h
    Hiway = 14-18km/l (Ave Speed 30-45km/h) Actual Speed = 60-80km/h

    D ako lampas ng 2k rpm except for 80km/h

    You can go to Fuel economy talk, there are so many advices & reasons there about FC.

    Mostly the reasons are beneath your right foot, driving habit, unnecessary modification resulting to drag, & types of MV.

    Since it has the same engine with my ASX, I can say FC is economical. I still got 10.0kpl for the past 9mos.

    Lets put ig in a bigger scale;
    If you will run at around 50km per day, the possible fuel cost difference in a year is around 20k. If 100km per day = 40k Php, so on & so fort.

    If you can shoulder this amount, then why bother with FC?

    Worry if you will chose between 1.3 vs 2.4 engine, this will give you big difference.
