Glx variant sir.. madaling araw yan.. i've beeb to sta rosa recently.. got 19.4

GLS variants can also achieve that..

Total distance travel - 155km.
Fuel unioil diesel euro IV
500php diesel equal to 11.5 liters.
FC both city and highway 13.4km/ liter. Sa 155km na natravel hindi pa siya nagfufuel light. Hehe
500 lng po karga ni monty. 11.5 liters redlight siya nung kinargahan :-)

Maybe it's my frequent use of the paddle shifters but I'm only getting 10 km/li on our 3 weeks old 2014 MS GLS-V A/T on a mixed city/highway driving.

Hi, I just want to ask kasi yung strada ko GLX 2.5 2013 model medyo malakas sa krudo. We have also adventure bought 4 years ago and when I compare the cost na napapakarga ko in same distance yung adventure nasa 700.00 pesos lang while the new strada nasa 1000.00 pesos. yung distance ng travel ko is 200km. Yung sa adventure yung takbo ko is nasa 80 to 100 km/hr while on the strada umaabot ako ng 80 to 140km/hr.

pero yung rpm on adventure ang strada hindi na ako lumalampas sa 3 x 1000. please advice kung dapat ko bang patingnan sa casa yung strada.

^^^ can you provide us with your specific FC in KMs per Liter? but assuming same conditions, dapat nga mas matipid ang Strada kesa Advie because of the common rail diesel technology. What i do is avoid going past 2 x 1000 RPM kse dun sumisipa yung turbo eh.

Saka from the optimal 80km/h on the highway, dumodoble ang FC mo when you get to 120km/h. mas malala pa siyempre pag 140km/h. meaning kung kaya mag 14 km/l FC ng strada at 80km/h, bababa yan to only 7 km/l at 120km/h. that goes for all cars.

kung nlex/slex Sir try nyo mag maintain lang ng 80 kph sa hi-way para smooth driving baka magulat kayo sa laki ng tinipid ng krudo

Thank you for the info. I thought when it reaches to 100km/hr or more yung odo hihina na yung fuel consumption because of the turbo. Now I know, i need not to press more on the gas pedal hehehe. minsan din kasi nakaka sipa ng pride lalo na pag na overtake ka ng multicab hehehehe. Well, dapat talagang cool on driving.

When the fuel gauge starts blinking, how many liters you got left?

Lately kasi nag increase ang fuel consumption ko from 12-14km/L to 8-9km/L

20L per gas up ako lagi before umaabot ng 240-260km ngayon 180 pa lang blink na, wala naman nagbago sa driving habits ko and same route to work everyday. Now im thinking did i exhaust my gas reserve too much kaya mas bilis sya blink now? or may problem na sa engine or hindi ko alam kung san man

Gas: shell nitro
Gassing method: 20L
Driving method:1.5-2k RPM
Everyday travel: vmapa-mckinley viceversa
Avg Distance/day: 30km

2014 Montero GLX AT

First ~500 kms registered a 7.4kms/liter fc. Fuel used was Shell Vpower diesel, driving w/out s care for fc. :-D

I'm now using Seaoil coupled with a lighter foot, so we'll see what happens on the next refill. :-)
