Sirs tanong po:

1. Nag change oil ako ginamit ko 20W-50 helix G (red) kasi sa mga nabasa ko po dito pag older engines mas ok po daw 20W-50 para sa 1.3 carb?
2. Base on my estimate FC nasa 9km/liter po yung consumption ng 1.3 carb itlog ko, ok lng po ba ito? combined highway and city driving po.
3. Medyo nahinaan po ako sa hatak ng itlog ko, possible kaya dahil sa engine oil gamit ko 20w-50?

1. ok lang yung oil.... pero if i am in your shoes, i'll get the next variant (yung shell na dilaw).
2. tama lang yung FC.
3. nope, hindi dun... kailangan mo din i check/replace yung spark plugs, check the timing, and replace the air filter.

Thank you po Sir, gusto ko talaga i maintain ang itlog ko in stock kaya dami ko tanong.. hindi ata po ako mauubosan ng tanong mga sir eh hehe pacenxa na po, ito po follow-up question:

1. May oil ba ang manual transmission ko? ano po required na oil and ilang liters po? balak ko rin sana palitan na.
2. What is the ideal idle rpm para sa engine ko 1.3 carb? without aircon and with aircon on. Medyo shaky po kasi and i feel mababa ang idle rpm nya.
3. May balak rin sana ako mag flushing sa radiator ko, anong advise po ninyo? 1liter po ba ng coolant tapos the rest water na?
4. Anong spark plug po would you recommend? NGK or Denso?

#3. Hanap ka ng Prestone na premixed na para wala nang chambahan sa paghalo. Then put a spare bottle of it in the car para refill kung kelangan.
#4. IIRC NGK ang stock plugs ng Mitsu.

May napansin po ako sa fan belt ko (i think yung fan belt for compressor) kasi po hindi siya align:

1. Tama po ba hinala ko na ito yung dahilan bakit mahina ang hatak ng engine ko kasi more load on my engine dahil hindi po align?
2. Ano po yung solution dito?

the thing you can do here is to change the compressor pulley.
baka kasi hindi swak yung nakalagay.

New user din dito...kakabili lng this march.Saan po ba trusted mechanic nyo?mukhang natataga kame sa pricing sa autodomain .nagpalit ng 1set brake pads 1200, 1set brake shoe 800,2pcs wheel cylinder 1300,1pc wheel hole bearing 1600, 2pcs stabilizer clume bushing 300, labor 600....bale 5800 na lahat ito.

Plus nagpatint din kame 2k inabot,and windshield wiper 200each...Patulong naman po if tama pricing or naoverpriced ako sa autodomain.dina kasi kame nakapagcanvass.kakapagod din palipat lipat ng shop.

^Not bad. Alam ko mahirap palitan ang stabilizer clamp bushings. May konting patong sa price ng parts pero IMO pwede na.

Ganun po ba,...dina kasi kame nakapgcanvass ng parts...kahapon nagpakabit lng ako ng stereo 250 na agad yung labor...from 350 pa yun.tinawaran ko lng...kasi ang alam ko 150 lng usually labor.

1. merong oil din yun... transmission fluid ang tawag dun. depende sa brand yan eh, pero ako, i can go along well with Mobil Tranny Oil.. Depende din sa oto yan eh, kaya medyo di ko masasagot kung ilang liters yan. Pero it should be changed every 20-30k kms.

2. ideal idle is around 900 without AC and around 800 with AC.
3. 50:50 mix ng coolant and water. Baka one liter to one and a half liter of coolant would be ok na.
4. NGK
