Anyone here also experienced the steering issue(alog/uga) that was mentioned here before? Been reading the jerky transmission issue of the new fortuner and someone mentioned that in thailand some pajero sports owner had the same steering issues. Also mitsubishi acknowledged the problem.

I asked my father about this issue since he's the one driving most of the time. And yes, may alog/loose feeling kapag inuuga mo. Pero inunlock daw niya and diniin niya yung steering wheel pababa then locked it again. After that wala na yung alog. I don't know if this is the same issue, but so far wala ng alog sa steering

Question pala, minsan while engine off, yung brake pedal cannot be depressed. So pag press ko sa engine start, acc on lang muna, isa pang press para mag engine on, dun palang lalambot yung brake pedal.

Anong reason for this?

Yep it's pretty normal for modern cars. Our brake system is equipped with hydrovac assited brake system. Meaning it needs vacuum to have a softer push to the pedal and creating a much stronger plunger hydraulic force to stop the car. Vacuum is only achieved when the engine is running either from a slave vacuum pump piggyback *Alternator or from the intake manifold. Normally if you don't have any leak on the system the vacuum is good for one use of vacuum assisted brake without engine running. If you turn off the engine with your foot off the brake pedal it should retain the vacuum good for one use, if it doesn't then there's a leak on the vacuum hoses. or the brake diaphragm.

Traction control ata naka turn off. 8 to 9 seconds ang 0-100.

kasi kung sa steering wheel and was rectified by readjusting the sterring wheel position, baka may maluwag lang na part.

Iba pa ata yung issue boss. Hindi pa din clear kung panong alog. Pero yung samin baka loose lang yung pagka lock ng steering wheel kasi okay na siya ngayon and hindi naman nagviveer sa ibang direction kapag binitawan mo yung steering wheel while driving on a straight road. Meron thailand thread about the issue pero hindi ko na tinuloy basahin, dudugo utak ko sa google translate.

Si boss kreme ata naeexperience niya to. I just read it from the jerky transmission thread. Baka ma explain niya dito kung pano yung alog.

Need advice. I want to upgrade my gls 4x2 halogen lights to hid. Do i need to get retrofits? Or changing it to hids is just fine since they already have projector housing? Anyone with base gls have done hid upgrade yet?
