Another option is not to have it drilled but put more 3M industrial strength adhesive tape on all contact points. A few have been installed that way acdg to a banawe shop. Planning to have it done that way para walang drilling.

Re change oil on first 1000 kms..

It seems it varies among dealerships.. Got my unit at Carworld Pampanga, they advised me that there is no need to change oil on the first 1000 kms, only 15 point check; then just top up on the 5000 km.. Regular change oil starts at 10k then every 5k maintenance check..

One of the reasons I got my unit from them, the other dealer in our area insists on a change oil on the first 1K with an estimate cost of Php 5K..

they are a bit inconsistent when it comes to service advise huh? i brought my unit to CW pampanga too and they did the change oil on my 1k pms. now im running it 10k before the next one. i didnt get my unit from them though.

talaga sir? can you confirm this? kasi nag pa 1k km pms ako ngayon sa carworld pampanga chinange oil nila. i used synthethic oil umabot 7k + ang bill ko.because if that is the case mgcocomplain ako

Yung na-interview ko na car tech ng Jabez motors, ok lang daw sa 5k na lng magpachange oil and filter. Ewan ko na lang kung papayag yung mga tao sa service. Nasa 800km pa lang ako...

but in the manual booklet its written there what to do in first 1k km .change oil and change filter is no.1 on the list

Hello Montero owners, I am planning to buy the Montero for my family. Here are the discount that was given to me by Mitsubishi Otis.

Montero GLS - Less 170k
Montero GLS Premium - Less 80k

Are the discounts at par with other dealers? And if I may ask, is the price difference really that worth it? I have the option to buy either of the two, but money is still money and it is very hard to earn.

mga monty 2016 owners wala ba kyo nafifeel na alog sa steering wheel nyo pg dumaan kyo sa mga rough road? at vibration sa expressway pag umabot ng mga 100 kph.may nabasa na ako kasi dito with the same issue.mine is only 1000 km

Sa lubak wala, pero sa expressway kapag 100-120 yes may certain vibration, ipa-check ko kapag sa 1k km pms ko. Have you reported this to your SA?

Yes sir, my unit is now running 5k plus kms kaya due to schedule na for PMS.. They did not do any oil change on my first 1k kms, only 15 point check.. Wala naman problem with the performance.. I just don't know if they changed their recommendations now..

Actually, light tint lang allowed ng LTO sa windshield . Medium tint is already a violation.

Para malaman if mahina na ang halogen bulb, turn on the headlights at lumabas ka ng sasakyan para makita mo how it actually lights up the road.

If kulang sa liwanag, replace with Osram Night Breaker or Philips Xtreme Vision series halogen bulbs.

I don't even use the fog lamps unless there is super heavy rain.

My other car is a 2012 Montero GLS-V which I find na mas superior sa light output versus sa 2016 Monty ko sir. So i needed the added light output of the modified fog lamps for night driving Tayo naman po ay disiplinadong mamamayan at projector Fog lamps with hi and low beams ang ininstall ni HIDRETROFIT.net (Gary QQ)

It's a common experience with those who have Vkool tints for their satnavs to lose signal, especially those portable models whose antennas are built-in. It probably has to do with the reflective material Vkool uses to keep the interior cooler than other brands.

A workaround would be to buy an external antenna.
