baka di mo pa nakita yung GT sir in person? :D and about sa tech, we can install after market gadgets and accessories if we want to add something, this give us the option, unlike kung high end tech eh yung iba naman dyan di mo naman magagamit and it's not built for city ride. Importance is its performance when it comes to driving comfort and stability, and when it comes to "Arangkada" napaka lakas parang hindi diesel ang pinapatakbo mo sa lakas umarangkada, at kung matagal kana nag mamaneho, you know that 8 speed trans is a big yes dahil hindi hirap ang engine ant hindi sagad sagaran ang accelerate, effective sa Eco at super tipid talaga. Add ko narin yung design nya sa harap, malaking tulong yung design nya pag naipit ka sa trapik, kahit malapit na yung sasakyan sa harap mo kaya mo pa i maniubra para makaalis at maka labas ka sa lane, medyo pa V kasi yung harap hindi tulad sa iba na medyo flat ang harapan talagang tatama yung dulo ng kanto ng sasakyan mo.

200 k is 200 k in my opinion just go for gls.yung can use the extra money to make leather sit cover for 9500k,overhead monitor unit anf body kits pogi pa coz some features naman you dont really use it.im bought gls and everything is perfect for daily use.and besides its just the same engine.so performance wise its just the same

Hi sir, from what dealer did you get that masive discount for both? I was also at PIMS and was quoted with 180k discount.

The leather looks and feels good inside.. big difference in safety features.. mine is Premium coz my wife and daughter used it daily..

Mas maganda talaga, sa instrument panel pa lang dalwa analogue gauge ng Montero tapos parang AVT na naman nilagay na stereo.

Taoos yun kaha design nya tingen ko yun ang maging problem pag nag age old. And then the rear, parang pag nasa likod ka mukhang pinto ng pedia na pwede ja sumikip

Thanks Janemar. Kung wala nmang major tech issues for both, ang maging decision point ko is value for money and fuel consumption. But that's the problem, i think both GLS Standard and Everest Trend are value for money. Ewan ko na lang sa FC. If im right, pinakamagaan ang Monty compared sa everest, fort, trail, and MUX. so malaking factor yun for the FC. tama ba?

Yes sir pero 2.2L lang si eve and 2.4L si monty so in stop and go city trapik na madalas naka idle lang mas lamang ung 2.2 sa patipiran.

Thats the logic behind small displacement engine na may turbo. Like new civics and ecoboost, etc... Pag city trapik driving tipid since maliit displacement(1.0L fiesta tapos 1.5L civic) ng makina pero pag hatawan na aandar na turbo to give more power to compensate.

On highway runs na maraming overtaking at paahon, mag edge si monty since 8speed. Pero pag steady cruising highway meaning fixed at 60-80kph say sa nlex or slex, lamang si 2.2L sa tipid. Same lang gearing ng eve at monty at their top gears(6th eve and 8th monty.) So maglalaro lang both suvs at 1600-1700RPM * 80kph.

So dont expect much difference rin sa FC, I would suggest na look on the safety features lalo na pag kasama lagi family sa byahe. Trend has 6 airbags vs. ung gls base na 2 front lang?

If ever na piliin nyo man monty, just go for the premium lalo na para sa kids. Invest ka kaunti sir ng para sa safety, worth it naman.

TPMS, rear camera, LED lights, leather interior, chrome accents, hek even moon/sun roof! Ang dali magpakabit nyan. Isang trip lang yan sa banawe tapos na. Add mo na rechip/tune, alcohol injection, bigger exhaust and intake intercooler and bigger turbo if you want to bump up your HP and set the SUV land speed record.

Airbags? Traction control? Stability control? Curve control?

^^ ala pa ko alam na nagiinstall nyan sa banawe or even sa casa as option.

Yes sir, overall marami nga factor like you mentioned abrams tank weight at pati na rin aerodynamic. Kaya nga po depende sa scenario nasabi ko na may pros and cons pareho model.

Overall, too close to say sino mas matipid sa dalawa. Kung meron man, negligible na FC wise.

Example, m1 abrams tank na naka 2.2L engine Versus say 2.4L engine at nakakabit sa Carbon fiber race car, both are idling for 3 hours sa trapik(max speed 10kph LOL) or sa school waiting kay junior. Mas tipid 2.2 160hp since di mo naman kailangan ng 2.4L 184hp to idle with a/c ON at wala rin po factor ang weight dito since naka hinto idling lang or minimal lang accel.

Okay nga innova pratical sya, pero wala sya sa option ni sir glstrend.

And ala po ako sinabi you need turbo for trapik.

Hindi naman porket mas hitec mas maganda na. Bat yung 2016 lc 70series lo tech. Walang sinabi sa sobrang techi ng everest. Mahiya naman yung everest pag kinompare mo sa lo tech 2016 lc 70series😱.

Mga kamonty yung entertainment screen ko bigla na lang humina sounds, pag radio ok lang... pero pag USB kht max na volume ung sounds parang bumubulong lang... then ung blutooth ayaw na rin magconnect,.ano kaya possble.ma.nangyari?? Montero 2016 gls owner po... kabago bago bngyan agad ako problema
