Hi. Possible ba na mapalitan yun buong unit due to click sound problem sa rear-left side? Meron bang buyer's protection na pag nalaman mo agad na may problem un sasakyan, pedeng ireplace agad ng bago.

I acquired a Montero Sport 2016 GLS Premium last February 10 lang. Napansin ko na yun click sound few days after mareleased. Akala ko dahil lang sa mga gamit sa likod and tools. Unfortunately, hindi dun galing. Yung click sound is parang mga maliliit na bato na tumitilansik. May mga napanood ako sa youtube and sabi Axle Drive daw yun problem. Hindi sya consistent, pero hindi rin lalagpas ang isang byahe mo na di mo sya maririnig. Mas rinig mo un sound pag nakabukas yun window and tuloy tuloy sya pag nagstart tumunog.

March 8 dinala ko sa dealer and ni road test. Narinig nung technician and he initially thought na galing sa step board kasi medyo hindi nakalapat. Pagkalabas ko palang sa dealer narinig ko na ulit kaso di na ako bumalik kasi sobrang traffic. So bumalik ulit ako nung March 10. Ni-road test ulit, this time kasama na yun warranty engineer. As expected, narinig na naman yun tunog. Gusto nila luwagan yun mga tornilyo tas sikipan ulit pero di ako pumayag. So gumawa nalang sila report and requesting yun technical team ng planta to check personally.

In addition sa click sound, nakita ko nung inangat yun sasakyan na puro putik yun ilalim, buo-buo at parang dinaan sa bundok. Napakamot sa ulo yun sales agent ko nung nakita nya. So ibig sabihin hindi normal. Ang paliwanag nila is baka nadaan sa maputik yun nag deliver. Fear ko is baka napagtripang iharabas nung driver yun sasakyan na dahilan kaya may clicking sound. yan ang mahirap sa softrider + PPV. that's two underchassis problem in just a week. pwede ba talaga i-mix ang dalawa sa ilalim. at least both MUX and Fort don't deny they are matagtag and they are really PPVs.

Unlikely na palitan ang buong unit. Lalo na hindi gaanong malala ang problem. Thats where warranty kicks in. Kahit anong kotse pa yan these things happen. Hindi maiiwasan in mass production. Yung Fortuner ng kaibigan ko. Whole transmission replacement ang recommendation after 2 weeks palang. Since may knowledge na tayo sa issue here in tsikot.

Yung Fortuner ng kaibigan ko. Whole transmission replacement ang recommendation after 2 weeks palang. Since may knowledge na tayo sa issue here in tsikot.

There is a functionality features i like about the fortuner.
1. The cup holder on the left and right vent ng dash ac. It serves its purpose. Parang ref ng bottled drink.
2. Yun 3rd row seats mas prefer ko yun pag angat to the left and right. Mas madali pumasok or lumabas sa likod ng pinto. So no need na pababain yun tao sa 2nd row para dumaan ang 3rd row passenger.

What also idont like with montero is yun palikpik sa center console kaya masikip sa tuhod at pag ka liit ng clearance ng bumper sa likod. Kaya pag medyo malakas ng konti ang banga ka likod may possible na tamaan kaagad ang door sa back.

Besides all the flaws that ive seen on montero im still getting one.

1. Because it has more powerful engine and matipid ng konti sa diesel.
2. The price of gt is almost the price of v fortuner as of now because of the discount.

3. The 4x4 of montero can act as a AWD car for traction on slippery road especially sa zigzag. While fortuner which has no center differential 4x4 cannot be use on high speed . If u do you either destroy the differential or transmission.
4. Because of the issue of SUA on last generation montero. Im sure mitsubishi design these new montero more safely
