I got my unit sa Mitsu Caloocan and Petron was the most convenient gas station in my way that I got to para magpa full tank. I'll keep your suggestions in mind, medyo out of the way lang kasi sakin mga stations ng unioil and seaoil pero if it's what's best for my monty, might as well make the effort...

I'll also try to get in touch with Sir Zixx888 to find out more about his stuff too, mukhang he has a lot to offer to keep my monty in tip-top shape...

As for your suggestion regarding using the 4x4 transmission, i think you're right pero baka yung 4H lang magamit ko since the manual doesn't recommend using the 4HLc & 4LLc on streets... do you think na okey lang yun?

kumpara sa pag-papa-start ng makina, mallit lang ang kuryenteng kailangan ng dashboard and lights.
subukan mong pakargahan ang baterya, o mag-jumper cable piggy-back (jump start).

hindi tatagal ang karga ng baterya kapag idling lang... yung kinarga ng baterya sa idling, ay kulangpa sa kuryenteng ginamit sa pag-start..
dapat ay ilabas sa lansangan at hayaang tumakbo nang mas mabilis sa idling rpm..
er... gaano na ba katagal na hindi lumalabas ng garahe si monty?

5 months old palang yung monty sir kaso 3 months na hindi nakakatakbo puro lang warm up once a week nga lang. cge sir pa charge ko baka nga na drained talaga. Salamat po sir.

Thanks po sa good info, about the concerns regarding sa petron diesel, and the procedures kung kailan ulit mag-top up ng diesel,

Since March po, nasa 125KMS pa lang yung takbo ng monty namin, once a week ko lang po napapa-andar at napapatakbo, para hindi ma-discharged yung battery and ma-lubricate yung mga bearings/gear oils,

and also po, May pa ang huling karga ko sa diesel, and till now, nasa Full pa rin yung gauge,
kaya lang naman po ako nag-full tank lagi, para maiwasan yung moisture sa fuel tank pag hindi ginagamit.

yun sa uncle ko naman po, sa province nila sa leyte, petron dieselmax ang gamit nya, same method din, at ni minsan hindi sya nagkaroon ng CEL, yun lang, lagi ginagamit, from tacloban to ormoc, vice-versa.

If time permits talaga, gagamitin ko na rin yung monty para ma-break in ng husto para ma-consume na rin yung diesel sa fuel tank,
(meron po talaga expiry at shelf-life ang mga fuels/lubricant, depende kung paano ang means of storage)
since yung old car namin, gamit pa rin ng parents ko at sa akin pinagka-tiwala yung monty, pero i decide na hindi na lang gamitin, kasi busy rin ako right now for my schooling...

pag natapos na siguro yung schooling at training, saka ako mag-celebrate kasama ang montero.. hehehe...

Good for you bro, iba kasi contaminated na diesel ng petron, naalala ko pa yung FM days ko, gf ko pa si misis, nag pa full tank ako sa petron sa kanila sa bulacan, pag dating ko ng nlex cel ako. Sa awa ng diyos nakauwi pa ko sa bahay, pinapunta ko mekaniko namin sa bahay duda niya dirty fuel filter, pag bleed niya, krudo na may halong tubig lumabas. Tpos we decided nlng na i drain yung diesel sa tank para sur. almost 1/4 ng tank puro tubig, After that incident hndi nako nag pakarga sa petron. diretso nko sa seaoil, ayaw ko lang sa seaoil hirap humatak. hehehehe!

Petron user na po kasi kami, pero sa gasoline (petron blaze) ni minsan hindi po nasira o nagkaroon ng issue yung first car namin (revo) not sure ko lang po sa diesel at since first time namin na magkaroon ng diesel engine version, kaya medyo kapa pa ako ng kaunti to familiarized, pagkaka-alam ko lang po talaga, very sensitive ang diesel...

In reality, talagang madumi talaga ang fuels dito sa pinas, pero to determine talaga kung merong water contaminants sa fuel tank,
nakalimutan ko lang yung specific na tawag doon sa gamit na yun, pero ginagamit ito sa small aircraft (cessna) para syang injection na isasalpak dun sa fuel drain, doon malalaman kung contaminated ba ng water or hindi. at kung pwede ba ito gamitin sa fuel tank sa monty?!

petron TD user din ako before, pero nung 2x ako nagpalit ng fuel filter dahil sa dumi at water contamination, never na ako nagkarga sa petron. either caltex techron o shell fuel save lang ako now. uniol sana pero wala sa amin sa probins yan

Agree with Sir Bengbeng. Tried Petron & Shell before with first 1000km. But when i transferred to Unioil --- superb ang hatak and less carbon emission. I followed from this thread to put it in 4rpm to emit the carbon deposit. Now better & clearer, wala pang mods from Sir Zixx ito ha. Unioil na since then. Just sharing my experience. Satisfied ako kaya sinasadya ko talaga ang Unioil station.

Ang bilis lang din nya na-isalpak mga goodies nya sa aking monty... pwedeng-pwede pang pitstop. Again, maraming salamat. Mas confident nako gamitin si monty ngayon and also thanks for imparting some knowledge on how to maintain it properly.

Oo nga pala, prior to the arrival ni Sir Zixx kanina samin, nasa Banaue ako para tumingin ng tweeters para sa aking monty. Akala ko walang nakalagay sa loob ng tweeter pod sa may pintuan pero nung buksan ng installer meron pala pero it was so small and even if lakasan mo yung volume ng radio, ang hina pa rin ng dating nya.

So I asked yung dealer kung meron syang pair of tweeters that would work with the stock 45w radio. She recommended I try JBL w/c costs about Php 1,200.00, meron nang kasamang pair din ng crossovers w/ free installation. After nya isalpak ayun medyo ok na... audible na yung kalansing pero still meron pang kulang since kapag naka "on" yung "Loud" eh talagang garbled yung audio. Pina try sakin nung dealer yung kanyang MBO self contained and powered (built-in amp na) sub-woofer. Ayun APRUB! Happy nako sa tunog nya clear na yun High & Low frequency handling ng monty... hindi ko na pinapalitan yung mga stock speakers sa pintuan since ok naman ang pag handle nya ng Mids...(maybe some other time).

Total project cost to improve audio quality:

1.) JBL tweeters w/ crossovers = 1.2k
2.) MBO self contained & powered sub-woofer = 6k

Total install time: 1:30

Tip sa installer: 100.00

I'm sure there are other ways of improving the audio quality, this just happened to be the most convenient for me since I'm not really a DIY person.

Question po regarding sa CR ng Monty natin.. Bought our Monty GLS-V this May 2014, yung Cr was released 3rd week of July, although wala pa yung field para sa plate number. Napansin ko po na GLS ang nakalagay na series sa CR nya. Ito po ba talaga lang ang dapat nakalagay, instead of GLS-V series? Hope somebody could shed light on this, thanks a lot.
