Oo nga pala, prior to the arrival ni Sir Zixx kanina samin, nasa Banaue ako para tumingin ng tweeters para sa aking monty. Akala ko walang nakalagay sa loob ng tweeter pod sa may pintuan pero nung buksan ng installer meron pala pero it was so small and even if lakasan mo yung volume ng radio, ang hina pa rin ng dating nya.

So I asked yung dealer kung meron syang pair of tweeters that would work with the stock 45w radio. She recommended I try JBL w/c costs about Php 1,200.00, meron nang kasamang pair din ng crossovers w/ free installation. After nya isalpak ayun medyo ok na... audible na yung kalansing pero still meron pang kulang since kapag naka "on" yung "Loud" eh talagang garbled yung audio. Pina try sakin nung dealer yung kanyang MBO self contained and powered (built-in amp na) sub-woofer. Ayun APRUB! Happy nako sa tunog nya clear na yun High & Low frequency handling ng monty... hindi ko na pinapalitan yung mga stock speakers sa pintuan since ok naman ang pag handle nya ng Mids...(maybe some other time).

Total project cost to improve audio quality:

1.) JBL tweeters w/ crossovers = 1.2k
2.) MBO self contained & powered sub-woofer = 6k

Total install time: 1:30

Tip sa installer: 100.00

I'm sure there are other ways of improving the audio quality, this just happened to be the most convenient for me since I'm not really a DIY person.

Sir ano po ang name ng audio shop na to sa banawe.....looks like a good deal to me....gusto ko lang din ma-improve ng konti yung sound quality ni monty.....

Sir, Agape po name ng shop, kung galing ka ng Quezon Ave. turn right sa Banaue, malapit sya sa Metrobank and tapat ng barber shop (nakalimutan ko pangalan) at bago ka dumating sa Orthopedic. 6.5k ang bentahan nila nun pero binigay sakin ng 6k, baka pwede mo pa mapababaan. Kasama na po dun yun cost ng installation.

Meron akong mga nakitang similar na underseat-subs sa OLX na mababa ang price, hindi ko lang alam kung kasama na ang installation. Medyo tricky kasi ang installation dahil direct sa battery ang power source nya.

So far ok naman ang brakes, nakaka 368 kms pa lang ako... naidaan ko na sya sa medyo bahang kalye and so far ok pa rin naman ang performance ng brakes... keeping my fingers crossed

Question lang po, kayo po ba ay nagpapa PMS pa sa casa or through favorite mechanic/shop or DIY? Salamat sa mga sasagot...

^ since bago pa po sir yung monty nyo better have pms sa casa para di po ma void yung warranty. I think tinitignan din nila yung continuity ng pms para sa warranty.

2 yrs and 2 months na po monty namin around 32k kms and 2 warranty claims already
1. Left rear shocks leaked
2. Aux fan motor.

Baba pa ng mileage mg monty mo sir, i suggest gamitin mo sana ng gamitin para kung may lumabas man na defect you can claim it sa warranty.

Sir Zix888, thanks for clarifying this, hindi ko pa talaga nabasa ang fine print ng warranty, the only reason I asked about outsourcing the PMS work is because of the number of horror stories that I've read and heard.

Just another question, nung nagkausap tayo and also based on recommendations here, Euro IV fuel is definitely the best choice, my question is what if you don't have a choice (walang available Unioil or SeaOil service station) sa pupuntahan mo? Ano ang recommended gasoline station and fuel type alternatives -- Shell, Caltex...etc?

also haven't ask to my CA yet, my friend is selling his other mags 20 ang size, sabi ko saka na baka mavoid yung warranty ko or hassle yung palit gulong pag PMS...sabi nya 20 below will not void the warranty, tama ba yun mga gurus?

Dati nung nabyahe ng baguio, on the way back we need to fill up dahil walang unioil or seaoil. Sa tarlac nagkarga kami petron but sobrang daming bad stories with petron, better siguro is caltex because merong techron to clean the engine but di natin alam gano kadami yung techron.

Hello fellow monty owners, just would like to share another work of art from our resident guru here zix888. Proud to say first FMIC upgrade here in baguio thru our master zixx.

I had a very good experience during the installation, though it was raining hard but zixx still continued the installation thru his personal touch hehe.... and so impressed of how it was done, very clean and his mechanic is very detailed in the installation meaning they know what they are doing.

So if you are going to ask me if ill recommend him i'll say zixx is better than the service advisor in casa or maybe the mechanic there in mitsubishi. By the way you can bring your montys to him for PMS, the difference to his shop is there is TLC to our beloved montys hehe....

Thank you so much bro zixx for your hospitality and the TLC to my monty hehe...
