pero minsan ok din maghintay ako ang bibilhin ko sana Pajero kaso ang sabi sabi, maglalabas daw ng bago. I shifted my attention to the new ford explorer (wala pa ecoboost nun) kaso magugulang at oportunista mga SA ng Ford sa amin at ayaw pumayag ng cash o 1yr to pay, gusto 3-5 yrs to pay naghintay din naman ako konti pa, nung mainip ako Montero na TOTL na lang kinuha ko. payag ng cash eh, may freebies pa saka maganda yung SA eh then sukat ba naman after 2-3 months inilabas yung anniversary edition na Pajero nyahahaha!

kaya sir eric_egboy, patience is virtue ika nga wait mo lang habang kami ay nageenjoy sa Montero. wait din namin kung anong bagong lalabas baka may bagong mod o baka facelift lang..

Agree to some extent, IMHO if you can at least have the slightest idea kung anu yung madadagdag sa susunod na upgrade at least malalaman mo kung worth it intayin, in my case I was about to buy a GLS V monty ng mga July-Aug 2011, kaso natunugan ko (special mention TSIKOT) na maglalabas na ng 2012 model ng mga Sept 2011 and medyo malalaki upgrades ( paddle shift, aircon vents at 2nd and 3rd row, cruise control , and disc brakes sa rear (don't know if the 2011 has this)).
Biruin mo kung napabili ako ng maaga kahit siguro naka discount ako ng malaki ay manghihinayang pa din ako

just installed kanina yung plastic spare tire cover, humanap lang ako thru olx tas pinadeliver ko COD sa ofc. PhP2800 + 150 binigay ko sa nag deliver.

Plan ko dati wag na maglagay kasi mas astig ang dating pag kita yung spare tire (for me), kaso mas madali pala manakaw kaya bili agad. better have a bit protection than be sorry later.

Nabasa ko pala sa booklet na pag lumampas ka sa 1000km before PMS mabo void yung free labor mo sa 1000km tas they will use the 5000km, kaya sa 5000PMS mo may bayad na...

Depende rin sa casa ito boss. In my case nadala ko yung Monty ko for 1K PMS nung 2030km na ODO reading pero free pa rin ang labor, nilagay lang sa booklet na 1999kms ang log. They just reminded me na wag palalampasin next time

Hello mga fellow Tsikoteers and Montero users

I just got my Virgil Gray (dark silver) GLS-V 4x4 M/T yesterday and I'm so proud and happy... it was a long wait, close to a month. Hindi daw kasi nag stock ng 4x4 units so they had to "indent" the order from Thailand. So far, the only complaint I have is the audio system w/c I didn't expect sounds really like crap. Although I've read a forum thread here at Tsikot.com that adding a pair of tweeters would improve the quality of the sound, which I might do in the next couple of days. So far, only cosmetic changes pa lang ang improvements ko, leather seat covers, rain guard, replaced the factory matting with 3M matts (the factory provided matting looks cheap for such a gorgeous vehicle) and rear spoiler.

I've already browsed through some of the comments here and other threads regarding the Monty. I just need suggestions on which upgrades or consumables to use and prioritize to keep my Monty healthy and in good working order.

Congratulations on your new monty bro. The sound system is really not bad. As long as you can hear it working then it's fine. You can upgrade it later that suit your liking. Not a very big deal actually. Meantime, you can start your monty to feel happy by installing an ac cabin filter while the evaporator system is still pristine clean.

With regard sa sound system, personal opinion ko lang po yun... it's good enough, it just lacks clarity. I just find it hard to believe that Mitsubishi didn't put in the effort to make it better considering it's one of their best selling vehicle in the country or perhaps that's the reason, it sells itself that's why they didn't bother on making it better... hehehehe

I've read that some prefer using unioil while others prefer seaoil. I filled the monty with petron diesel max when I got it from the casa... maari nyo po ba ako enlighten with the differences nila?

First time to own a diesel fueled vehicle, kaya "ZERO" knowlege po ako sa maintenance...

Again, maraming salamat po sa mga mag reply, TIA

^^PM zix for the cabin filter and other stuff you may want based on what you know from this thread/forum

^that's the top 2 fuel recommended in almost all the members here. Petron(TD) known to cause FF issues.

Sir BMGregorio, kahit ano naman po diesel basta yung gasoline station ay hindi bahain na lugar, and malinis, no problem po yan,
gamit po namin is petron turbo diesel, hindi naman mausok...

Congrats Sir sa New Ride! BTW: gamitin nyo yung 4wd sometimes para kahit paano ma-lubricate yung gear sa 4wd,

GLS-V MT rin po yung sa amin, at marami po ako natutunan dito sa tsikot about sa monty, read lang po kayo sir at kung meron kayong concerns or tanong about sa monty, post lang po dito....marami po na members tutulong for any info..

I got my unit sa Mitsu Caloocan and Petron was the most convenient gas station in my way that I got to para magpa full tank. I'll keep your suggestions in mind, medyo out of the way lang kasi sakin mga stations ng unioil and seaoil pero if it's what's best for my monty, might as well make the effort...

I'll also try to get in touch with Sir Zixx888 to find out more about his stuff too, mukhang he has a lot to offer to keep my monty in tip-top shape...

As for your suggestion regarding using the 4x4 transmission, i think you're right pero baka yung 4H lang magamit ko since the manual doesn't recommend using the 4HLc & 4LLc on streets... do you think na okey lang yun?

Pero bro assumption ng casa sa mga cel due of dirty or may water fuel filter nila mostly petron diesel gamit. Pero never tried petron dahil may unioil naman samin. Unioil na monty ko eversince.

Pero may mga ilaw naman sa dashboard at pati yung monitor kaso ayaw talaga mag start. ano kaya problem nito? pasensya na po wala kasi alam pa sa sasakyan. Thanks.

palagay ko, yung baterya ay mahina na.
kumpara sa pag-papa-start ng makina, mallit lang ang kuryenteng kailangan ng dashboard and lights.
subukan mong pakargahan ang baterya, o mag-jumper cable piggy-back (jump start).

hindi tatagal ang karga ng baterya kapag idling lang... yung kinarga ng baterya sa idling, ay kulangpa sa kuryenteng ginamit sa pag-start..
dapat ay ilabas sa lansangan at hayaang tumakbo nang mas mabilis sa idling rpm..
er... gaano na ba katagal na hindi lumalabas ng garahe si monty?
