Sir, use unioil diesel, install additional mods: like egr blanking, K&N air filter, oil catch can. On mods inquire from Master Zixx there's a lot more.

Its natural for diesel engine to discharge black smoke because diesel is a less refined fuel

Montero has a gas variant, i bet it wont belch as much toxic smoke as a diesel variant

Hi, Just want to check if this is is normal. This is the second time I opened the hood since it was delivered (The first one was when the unit was delivered). I quickly noticed that the VGT already has rust even though my Odo is just 1,700.

The hotter side of turbocharger or the turbine side, parang manipis lang yong housing coating. Ganyan din sa lahat.

normal lang po sir, ganyan po lahat ng turbo nakakabit sa montero. yung turbo casing kasi is made of cast iron material and sa sobrang init di na advisable pinturahan.

Use a euro 4 diesel like from unioil or diesel from seaoil. Unioil user here since day 1 up to now 30k kms. Yes there will still be a puff of smoke when you rev it higher just to let the smoke out stuck during low rev cruisin. But then after that its all clear. And the smoke isnt dark or black. More like a brown or clear brown in color.

Egr blanking to my monty is about to happen maybe next week.

Mga Sir, just wanna ask kung talaga bang wala nang greenish color yung itaas ng windshield ng 2014 GLX Monty? Yung sa akin kasi wala eh although naka tint sya but somehow mapapansin yun eh kung meron...

I've been using UniOil since I got my Monty GLSV last February, my last two refuels I used Sea Oil for a try. My observation, it seems with Sea Oil my monty is more responsive and have better fuel efficiency. With this result I might change from UniOil to SeaOil.
