100 kph at 4K rpm is an interesting test indicator

i am also interested in knowing at what gear although i suspect that its probably at the highest gear

a monty with a very dirty egr will not reach that speed at that rpm even at the highest gear (4th or 5th depending on the variant)

i think 3rd gear. i was not using the invecs mode. please take not that my unit is gls-v 4th gear only.
anyways, in order to reach 100kph at 4,000rpm u need to floor it. I presume this is an acceleration test.

Regarding my rear spoiler peeling off GTV. Diamond motors told me that warranty claim is on winter pine. Upon calling winter pine I asked them if it is carbon fiber, they told me it is only paint. and will change my spoiler when I bring my unit to there ofc in Q.C.

When I bought my unit I am very sure that SA from Union Motors Otis told me that it is carbon fiber. He even told me that it will not be sold to non GTV unit.

so to do our own self test, we need to use the manual mode, then stay on 3rd gear (baka 4th gear for the 5 speed models) and see kung aabot sa 100kph at 4,000rpm, tama ba?

if so, puede mag self test nito sa skyway in order to see kung barado or madumi na ba ang egr

sir, when we did the test, we are in D mode. and not on the manual invecs mode. we just floor it upon seeing an open space! probably starting from 40kph to 100kph and viola! my monty did not reach 100kph at 4,000rpm. We test a newly arrive GLS-V and once floored it did reach 100kph at 4,000rpm. That's when the mechanic decided to clean my EGR.

Coz at first he was so hesitant to admit that there's something wrong with the acceleration. Maybe my driving habits was at fault. bla3x. anyways, with the clean EGR, power is Back!

Sir nacheck ninyo if paint yung nagpepeel? Kasi ang nagpepeel na part is just the clear coat, even if you remove all the peeling parts, same pa din , carbon fiber pa din. Try ninyo tuklapin yun peeling portion, same pa din itsura nun, tapos yung part na matatanggal is clear coat

kung ito nga ang cruising speed mo, 100 kph * 4000 rpm, sigurado ang lakas lumklak ng diesel nito, other monti is only 1800 rpm lang at 100 kph..

Actual inspection na yan sir, kalimutan nyo na yung sinabi ng taga-winterpine. Mas maganda sana kung maiseal ninyo ng clear coat yung mga portions na natuklap, me nabibili na clear coat spray paint , pwede na yun sir. Enjoy your gtv carbon fiber spoiler

my monty can reach 100kph at 2000rpm but it takes a while.
Right now, ok na yung power. Back to normal.

first things first sir, if u dont feel any change of power/acceleration from day 1, please dont try this test. This is quite dangerous,
But if you have the luxury of wide open roads, then do it on 3rd gear manual. If you reach 100 kph before it reaches 4000rpm (pedal to the metal) then your GOOD!

in my case, as we floored my monty to 4000 rpm it did not reach 100kph. that's y the technician took my complain seriously. since not all owners drive their montys at this speed.

to this date, I am one of those monty owners satisfied with the quick response. fast acceleration. fast up shift of gears.
