Pa follow up question:

After installation,(I'm assuming were both 4x2 GLS-v),

a. can you use your stock switch to activate the rear fog lamp?
b. when you activate your rear fog lamp, does the indicator lamp on your dash for "rear Fog lamp" lights up?

GLS non-VGT lang po sa ken sir i ask them about it kung pwede ma-activate using the stalk switch, di daw pwede eh. Two options lang daw, it's either tap it on your parklight switch or lagyan ng separate switch to activate the rear fogs. The indicator lamp on the dash doesn't light also when it's activated

hindi na binaba bumpers, tinanggal lang mga clips ng bumpers ko sa left side. mga 45minutes tapos na. kabisado na nila kasi madami na daw nagpakabit ng rear fogs sa kanila

i agree.. hindi nga nila mafulfill orders ng gtv 2011, meron na agad na 2012? i highly doubt it.

Ito ba yung reprogramming ng ECU from Euro4 setting emission to euro 2? Me nag feedback na bumaba daw "pakiramdam " sa power, like driving the non VGT Monty?

I had the Pms at carworld marilao. I ask them if that procedure is setting the euro4 to euro2, the headtechnician said no, he said it has something to do with the way egr functions. I didnt feel any difference so far when it comes to power. Though i can compare when i get the chance to pass by sctex, before the reprogramming kasi i had proven that the 200kph instrumentation is kulang sa gtv, nasa "push trip" na sya when i slowed down, pero syempre i have also have to consider na meron mods, pero pwede ko maicompare. But so far, okay naman sya, super linis ng tail pipe, walang blackening on the lip

a. no. you have to have the ETACS of the GLS SE or GTV
b. no. you have to go through the ETACS to enable it, unless custom wiring.

Need help on my new Montero GLS-V. I had it serviced for my 1000km check at around 990km at Union Motors Paco without any problem, after reaching around 1400km I experienced some loss of power during acceleration but intermittent sometimes it's normal power and also sometimes black smoke is evident. I had it checked at Diamond Motors Q.A. and they did SIQL using the laptop computer and the performance improved just for a while, after few km run the problem re-occurred. Anybody has the same experience? Please provide some advice so that I can tell my SA for some inputs. Thanks in advance.

Sir try ninyo magreset ecu, remove both battery terminal, positive/negative for 10 mins. Paupdate na lang po after ng reset

sir, maybe u didnt feel the change of power since you have that CR chip u added to your monty? I obviously felt mine since I remembered to have power on the 1,500rpm. but now needs to be at 2,000rpm or more when overtaking!

So far the reprogram of my ecu was really okay, smoke is really gone, even in start ups, high revs etc. I really didnt feel any loss of power at all. Can you ask your service advisor if the procedure your ecu had is the same procedure they are performing now? New lang kasi yung advise na galing ng planta, some branches nga hindi nareceive yung ganitong procedure to be performed. Para sana mayroon tayo comparison, because if they can confirm that we had the same reprogram , then i would say na cr plus and knn filter is doing the job
