i would be very mad if this happened to me. this is actually one of the features that i love about the MIS
have you tried a manual reset of the MIS. try pressing with the tip of the pen a small button located at the left hand side of the unit. as per the manual, this is the quick fix if there is anything wrong with the MIS
if doing a reset still does not solve it, then best to bring it in for warranty check. this is what i did after successive resets did not solve my problem with my touch screen
could be the wiring or the sensors of the wheels. best to be sure rather than a DIY. in my case, when i had my rear cameras installed by the casa, the MIS readings went haywire when i left the case. thinking it was a fluke, i let it stand for two days and did some resets.
when the problem was not solved, i immediately went back to the casa. they checked it and the wirings to the ECU were just loose. now it is working fine
buti nalang i got my rear view cams from the casa so they had no choice but to acknowledge that it was their fault in not returning the MIS wires properly after installing the rear view cam
again, my advise for brand new cars is to claim the warranty. if despite this it is still not fixed, then you can escalate this and with the proper demand letter, perhaps a new vehicle or money back? hehehehe :naughty2:
of course, driver's error excepted. theft also excepted like in my case where my headlamp washer was stolen so i had to pay for the brand new replacement part and most likely pay for installing this also, grrrrr
