    will check mine

although, i do plan to change my fogs to HID yellow and just leave the headlights untouched

OT: paging jedi, may yellow HIDs na ba kayo for the monty?

From my observation the Fogs of the monty are completely useless. It only illuminates 3 to 4 feet of foreground.

My decision for having my low and high beams retrofited is for maximum illumination and distance.

Mga boss, got my GTV and I have a couple of questions, if they have been answered already, sorry for the re-post, can you provide the thread link?
1 – How to use IPOD connector? The IPOD box is disabled and when I connect my ipod touch / iphone it plays in AUX mode.
2 – What’s with the blue led for the alarm? Masakit sa mata pag gabi. May meaning ba?
Overall, I’m still getting used to it. Naninibago compared to fort. And parang hirap when going uphill sa start then ok na siya. Once parang may kadyot pa.

RE: Blue Led "always on" - you are in valet mode.

RE: Ipod Cable - you connect the IPOD/USB cable to the USB slot (glove compartment). You connect your ipod/itouch/iphone to the elongated cable.

on no. 1 -- make sure the audio jack and usb jack are connected before connecting the other end to your ipod. if the connection is successful, the MIS ipod selector will light up and you are ready to use your ipod. if your ipod is connected but cannot be selected. check the software version of your ipod. make sure it is version 4.2. i had the same problem. the ipod i was using was still on version 2.2 but when i upgraded it to version 4.2, it works. you can also tell if the ipod connection is successful when an alert tone is sounded the moment your ipod is connected

on no. 2 -- if the blue light is continuous, this means that you are in valet mode. why dont you switch to alarm mode to switch off that blue light

as for climbing uphill, i did not have that problem when i went to tagaytay. in fact, because of the sport mode and paddle shifters, ascending and overtaking was easy. just takes a little getting used to the paddle shifters but once you get the hang of it, it is very convenient to use. now, i cant keep my fingers off the paddle shifters, herherher

If no beep you should bring your car back to the Casa or bring it to Winterpine at Aurora Blvd. They are the one's who installed the Alarm System.

    i do it differently

i turn on the key to acc or until all the lights in the instrument cluster lights up first

then i press the button continuously until there is a beep

if the light is steady, i am in valet mode. if i want to exit the valet mode, i do the same steps above until it beeps and the lights turn off

    works for me

    Hi Metslgx,

The price depends on several components.
    A. Type of Ballast (China, Japan, OEM)
    B. Type of Projector (OEM, FXR, Mini D2s, Mini H1 and etc)
    C. Type of Bulb (Philips +82122, OSRAM, and etc.)

So the price will vary like ordering set menus at restaurant. I recommend you do your research first at theretrofitsource.com and hidplanet.com Figure out what you want then message Garyq. He will send you a quotation.

found out to have a faulty arbimeter (MID can not read distance travelled)

winterpine change it with a new one. Solve the no data values on the left side of the MID screen.
