hi guys,
had been on search for a cargo cover for our monty 2011. i had gone to autoline as stated in the previous posts in this thread but according to alex, the owner, it did not came from him. do you guys have any idea where i can source this cargo cover for our monty? oem cargo cover is way out of budget. if you can also point me to a good floor matting supplier, would appreciate it a lot. thanks.
Check out the Thule store along Ortigas Ave. for their cargo nets and covers. For the matting, there's a shop beside Jeff Tan's along Araneta Ave. that sells 3M-Nomad like matting. HTH
sir, a 24" x 24" cargo net should fit to our ride. at the back of our ride, there are four hooks on the floor (not on the sides) that can be
used to install a net for securing
items. It works well with me, no irritating rattling sound whenever I carry a luggage or an ice box inside my car. Maybe I can post a picture taken from an original brochure of mitsubishi challenger. HTH.
ah ok sir, mahirap nga maghanap ng net para vertical ang holding pressure nito, sinubukan ko na rin kasing maghanap ng ganyang net pero di nga sya maka-hold in place ng mga cargo na hindi ito gagalaw. the cargo net, that hooks in the floor, works well with me.. Thank you sir..

for appreciation na lang ng ibang members how do I secure my cargo, ok naman ang ganitong position dahil walang kumakalog sa likod na bagahe, specially kung wala itong laman.
i wonder kung puede yung net na ginagamit sa likod ng mga pick up, the ones being used to substitute for the cargo door panel?
saan kaya puede bumili nito?

i am new here, i would like to ask if anyone had a problem with their montero gtv (2011), the check engine naka - ilaw * 7k+ mileage. Brought it to the casa (Union at paco) and they told me the gas filter replacement daw mga nasa 2kPlus going 3. Yun ba talaga may problema or yun sa computer ng montero ang may problema, if gas filter ang problema diba it means we are using dirty diesel and i am using a petron turbo diesel. Any suggestions or comments?
Also i am disappointed to hear a new and better montero which was launched this month plus the cruise control function and camera, kakainis para sa mga owners na kagaya ko ang laki malamang ng depreciation sa unit yan! Thinking of selling my gtv and upgarding to the 2012 model.. do you think its a good choice?
thanks
I strongly suggest you stick with your 2011 gtv sir, purely cosmetics and accessories lang ang upgrades. You can have them installed, ang masakit lang eh yung upgrade syempre from our pockets na. Diesel talaga naging prOblema niyan, hindi match with our euro 4 engine, try to gas up with a better diesel like seaoil.
hi there. i'm guessing you haven't backread.
re: dirty diesel, it might come as a surprise to you that the big-3 diesels aren't exactly the cleanest around. it took me a while to wrap my fingers around that concept too.
re: selling your 2011 for a 2012, that's basically up to you, if your main concern is product depreciation. keep in mind though that montero's being the hot ticket that they are, and mitsubishi motors phils apparently very aggressive to maintain their leadership, will probably keep on coming out with updates. its like tech gadgets. if you look at the product cycle of apple products, they release updates very quickly. to stay on top of the heap, you're going to need to get the newer version every so often. same goes with automobiles in general. i'm sure the dealer and your SA will love you for it. pero double hit ka dyan. you'd have to sell your 2011 at 10-20% less than sticker price, and then buy the 2012 at a premium. ultimately, it will also depend on whether or not you're already happy and contented with your 2011 unit. if it satisfies all the things you're looking for in a vehicle (such as how it led you to buy it in the first place), then personally, i don't think there's a need to "upgrade" to the 2012 model. but if you feel ripped off and are lusting over the 2012 model, then do get the newer model.
