Only you know that MyX. Add up the numbers. I do know that if you arrange your own insurance you can save a bundle. Some are quoting P56,000 for insurance according to my friends wife.

According to MMPC the standard discount is indeed a misely P20,000.

    Sirs,

Is it practical not to get insurance w/AOG? I'm planning to get my Monty this week w/out AOG

    Thanks.

    Hi Jimny,
It seems more likely that the GLS 4x4 M/T will get vgt first. As the 4x2 M/T is only in GLX trim and very competitively priced it is doubtful it will get the vgt engine in the near future.

It is of course possible they will bring out an additional GLS 4x2 M/T with vgt at some stage if they feel their is enough demand for it. Personally, I do not think so.

I suppose the success (best seller) of the GLS 4x2 A/T is due to the fact that city dwellers do not require 4x4 and prefer the A/T

Got my GLSv a/t last monday. First, I had a 20k discount, then my SA gave me another 10k discount after haggling, so lumabas na 1.378m lang. Effective March 1 daw kasi tataas ulit ng 10k. Insurance w/ AOG at 30k...Only the first 1k units lang daw me extra discounts. Have a question here, I checked the tire pressure, 39 each tire! I reduced the pressure at 32. Is that the right tire pressure for our Montys?

Congrats on your ride sir. Nasa manual or sa sticker sa may driver side door nakalagay yang proper tire pressure. But 32 is fine naman for a SUV.

plus, the SA called the montero sport a montero. montero = pajero in some countries. montero sport is a different product. we should never omit the "sport" in "montero sport".

The right action is to check the owner's manual. If not, check around the door sides, dapat may nakalagay doon tire pressure chart or something.

Quite minor. Even I refer to the domestic Montero Sport as either "Monty" or just "Montero" for short. Since the classification of the Montero and the Pajero is different here, I guess we can cut the guy some slack :D

Would say that the air temperature and tyre temperature at the time of reading would have some bearing. It's been so hot here sa Visayas for the past few days I can notice my motorcycle's tyres being more inflated.

Yes in most countries (especially European) with Pajeros; Pajero sport is the little brother. In the UK the Shogun Sport is the little brother of the Shogun. In countries (South America?) with Montero's the little brother is Montero Sport. But here in The Philippines, we have Pajero and Montero Sport is little brother; so calling it a Montero here is politically OK

For a cash sale; you done much better than most people I know Sir gti277. What CASA did you get this from? The only ones I know who were giving this was part of a finance package, which as we all know, you don't actually know the true amount you are paying for the car itself.

Mga sirs, important question lang po. Ive read from the other threads that we need to cool down our engine before turning it off, or install a turbo timer... Is this still needed for the 2011 4x2 vgt engine? Parang wala kasi ako nabasa sa manual regarding this. TIA
