2010 Mitsubishi Strada [continued 2]

Hi,
Last saturday ginawa (cleaning maintenance Strada 3.2 A/T) yung EGR & other parts connected sa system, including the SCV, the battery was disconnected. Matapos ng cleaning it was boxed up and had to revs high (up to 4000 rev) to displace the carbon deposit. Noted that time setting can't be adjust, fuel not in conformity w/ the gauge dahil the display in the monitor is still full but the needle gauge is 3/4, Im planning to disconnect the battery again hoping it will settle the problem, any idea mga sir baka na encounter na ninyo ang similar problem & able to rectify, pa share naman.

meron temporary cover siya na kelangan i-cut. but it is really designed for the cabin filter

bro zix888, did you make the white cover o oem part na yan? Iba kasi sa rig ko . I needed to cut out the front part para ma pasok yung filter tapos I just sealed it with silicone. Not the best way kaya I was thinking of making the same cover.

*eilynn15 it's a 30min job kasi yung supplier ng filter emailed me detailed pics with instructions.

*J_AIRBUS3XX Got tired of cleaning aircon vents. My rig goes through very fine dust weekly na kahit naka recirc yung aircon pasok pa rin kaya I opted to install the filter. I dont have warranty since week three kaya ok lang . I would suggest you call your casa to confirm regarding your warranty.

the one that you installed utilizes the plastic part that was cut out para gamitin pang cover. the one that i installed, you need to cut the whole thing out, the filter comes with that cover frame that is mounted thru the oem screw opening.




regarding naman sa scv, cel will follow after cleaning, you need to do a learning procedure which is done using under the laptop. just have the egr cleaned, just wait for the scv to wear out normally.

i think mas maganda gawan mo ng custom cover like the oems, kasi the filter requires cleaning . every time na maglinis ka , lagay ka ng lagay Â*silicon, unlike this one, bolt on. made this para sa paglilinis naman at drying time nung filter, para hindi rin problema even when need to use the carÂ*

Greetings to everybody.

Forgive me but I have a lot of queries to make.hehe.

1.) I am thinking of replacing the tires and mags of my 2012 Strada GLX but I must admit I do not know anything about tires. I do not know even what 16" x 6.0 JJ Alloy 205/80 R16 104S RF Bridgestone Dueler H/T means? ( This is the specifications of Starda Glx 2012 relating to tires and wheels as per the Mitsubishi website; But actually, my Starda has Dunlop Tires instead) Can anyone educate me on this?

2.) If I will be upgrading to a new set of bigger tires and bigger mags, what should be the ideal specifications of my new tires and mags should I install without compromising the riding stability and comfort?

3.) what are the effects of changing your tires/mags to bigger ones? re: ride comfort, fuel consumption,safety etc.

4.) What brand of tires/mags should I buy? Where can I buy? How much?

5.) They say that if I use "chrome" tires, it is prone to peeling or that instance where the chrome paint peels off, is this true?

6.) Or is it not advisable to upgrade to bigger tires if my priority is ride comfort and safety?

7.) BTW, is it advisable to install anti-roll bars? it looks nice but I realize its quite heavy and my truck might consume more fuel considering the additional weight load?

Got the same filter here sir. Medyo humina nga lang yung air flow pero mas ok naman yung pag filter niya sa dust etc.

Anyone knows kung saan yung intake ng aircon? Parang gusto ko i-seal since 95% of the time naka re-circ mode naman.

mga sir patulong naman nagkaroon ng accident ang strada ko, mga 60% wreck, saan ba pwede makabili ng mga rubber linings like for the doors, window, gutter moulding, for the strada, mayroon ba yan sa third market or sa casa ka lang talaga makakakuha ng ganyan saan pinakamadali at mura kaya? maraming salamat sa tulong sana tulongan nyo ako ....

Mga sir hihingi sana ako ng advice kung ano magandang color ng fender flares kung deep black mica ang color ng strada? Kung gemstone gray mica naman ang unit ano kaya ang magandang color ng fender flare? Btw kukuha pa lang ako ng unit this coming week and planning upgrade the looks of the glx-v. Thanks
