sir 4thou km mixed city/farm duty for 6 months. DIY yung EGR sir, sinunod ko lang yung pics dun sa TSCP fb page . (Lurker ako dun since im not a member kasi walang chapter dito sa area namin. ) tapos meron din instructions dun sa aussie triton site. Took me 2hrs kasi nilinis ko talaga di lang ako naka pictures kasi andumi hehe. I called our local casa here they said they can do the cleaning for 1k kaso meron pa 250 service charge plus 600 para sa ecu reset. I asked wtf do they need to reset the ecu for, sabi nila sop daw yun pag egr cleaning.:dunno:

I sprayed wd40 the day before para ma loosen na yung bolts tapos remove mo lang yung battery para mas malaki yung space pag tanggalin mo na.

Usually the warning light activated when the fuel is low, then once nag top up ako + & increased revs kusang nawawala.

Hi, sa 3.2 L strada , para sa akin no need to remove the battery, only yung plastic cover ng engine, also immune na ako sa engine warning light, pinababayaan ko na lang mawala as long as the accelaration not affected. Usually the warning light activated when the fuel is low, then once nag top up ako + & increased revs kusang nawawala.

Hi, when my fuel dip less than 1/4 capacity. Its your call to blocked the EGR, but I also read some forum that it is not recommended, it may blanketed the problem but may re channel to other ancillary parts.
Just a minute ago my wife called me that our strada is nagloloko, nawala ang electrical power but umistart daw uli kaya lang humina ang hila, my suspect is the SCV dahil maraming beses ng nag ilaw yung warning light then mawawala kaya i dont give so much concern about it. Maybe its time need to call my mechanic (mits-guy)

Hi, usually the warning lights appear when fuel is about 1/4 or less, I've read that some are blanking the EGR, also some does not agree w/ blocking, though it may blanketed the problem but may re-channel to other ancillary parts.
Just few hours ago my wife called me telling me that our strada ay nagloloko ,namatay ang power but nai-start uli kaya lang humina ang hila. I called yung taga mits na nagseservice sa amin , sabi nya hindi na raw kailangan palitan ang SCV, they can clean it & calibrate kaya lang hindi ko pa naitatanong kung how much they will charge me.

My wife was driving our Strada( 3.5 A/T) when she encountered blackout, lost of electrical power, then na re-istart na naman kaagad but she noticed that the power is sluggish . I suspected na it is SCV ang problema , kaya I arranged my mekaniko ( mitsu guy doing moonlighting job call every sunday). I learned from the Mitsu Guy ,that it is not necessarily to replace w/ new one the SCV but instead to do maintenance task na ginagawa nila sa casa. What he did is he filled up w clean diesel ang half gallon na plastic ,then inilubog yung SCV, w/ the long handle ng alen wrench pushed the valve several times, you will at the bottom of the diesel container dark like sand particles. When everything is boxed up several quick high revs, yo will see the surrounding area blackened. We drive yesterday, happy to feel the smooth & powerful thrust was back again.
Kaya lang yung panel screen ayaw mag function ng normal I can’t adjust the time, maybe I will try to disconnect again the battery. I will try to post some pictures.
