Actually sir, 4,300kelvin gives the highest lumens (brightness). It gives off the most usable light for driving with good penetration sa fog. Parang ordinary halogen bulb nga lang ang color output (same with stock HID equipt cars like Honda CRV 4x4). I would go with option 2 also if you don't plan on modifying the stock headlamp assembly. The xenon-filled 60/55watt H4 (Philips Xtreme Power and Osram Night Breaker/Night Breaker Plus) have the brightness close to high wattage bulbs but without the burning effect on the headlamp inner polycarbonate lens. They also have very good cut-off on low beam since the stock headlamp reflectors are designed for the brightness of regular H4 bulbs.

Partner Makisali lang po..Kung napansin mo lang lately then hindi ito normal. I suggest ipa check mo sir. If wala ka pang time, then wait for the advise of the other members kung may safety issue sa naririnig mong "air leak". If may safety issue na then you need to make time to bring your pickup sa suki at trusted mong Casa.

More than 3 years ang strada ko with that noise your referrng to. Sa akin , normal yan. Its like when press the clutch wala noise, then you release the clutch and naka neutral ang gear meron like metal to metal sound, yes its also intermittent. Casa tried adjusting but babalik din.

Sa akin sir, its not a problem to worry about. Hth.

Pinacheck ko sana sa casa but hindi naman lumabas ang sound when i was there so inuwi ko ulit. the sound is intermittent but frequent.

How many have experienced this problem? based on the previous posts solutions are greasing to clutch replacement. Can you share the solutions?

Is this alarming? Considering the number of this kind of noise problem, is this normal with M/T stradas?

My truck is only 5 months old and with only 6500 kms on it.

BTW, the noise is heard regardless when the engine is running or off.

    Thanks

Problem is, 8000k is too much. Masakit yan sa mata. It can blind oncoming motorists, bigtime. What can you do ? ..

    Option 1.
    1. Sell your 8000k H.I.D ( Probably 5k ? Dunno. Haha. )
    2. Get a set of bolt on projectors ( w/ HID .. 4300k temp * 14k )

    or ...

    Option 2.
    1. Sell your 8000k H.I.D
    2. Get a set of Osram Nightbreakers or Philips Xtreme Power ( gives a whitish output but no glare costs around 1.3k )
    3. Get a set of good yellow bulbs for the foglights ( ~ 1k also. )

    May sukli ka pa ...

    Personally, I'd go with Option 2. ;)
Baka magalit gf niya at magtampo kapag binenta yung HID na binigay. Hehe.

Bili ka na lang o itrade-in mo yung bulb mo to 4300-6000k Kelvin. IMO, 6000K is tolerable, ganun kasi yung akin. Anyways, 1 yr na yung akin at talagang sinusubukan kong sirain (on - off, hi - lo - hi - lo) pero ayaw talaga. Hehe.

Hmmmm.

It serves its purpose. Pero basically, it's kinda off sa H4 headlights. Maliit kasi yung diameter. Unlike sa retrofitted ones na mas malaki and the shroud looks good with it. ( aesthetic purpose )

Isa pang plus ng bolt-ons is yung span of time na makakabit siya, maikli lang. Usually kaya in several hours unlike sa retrofitting which takes days. Mga dalawang araw.

Though cons niya is yun nga, light output is narrower than the retrofitted ones.

Damn, 8 lanes yung sakop. Pero syempre, mahal. Usual FXR projectors can take up 4 lanes and malayo yung abot ng light.

Cons, mahal. Sayang pag nabangga ...

BTW, if you want a good set of bolt-ons, kay garyq ka. Check his thread, gulat ako .. lapad din ng ilaw nung bolt on projectors na inooffer niya. And mas cheap ata.

And yeah, nabanggit mo na sinisira mo HID mo. Wag mo na gawin yan, pwede na yan gamitin mo sa bolt-ons. Atleast less gastos

    -

    Pahabol.

Eto bolt ons ni garyq. Ganda diba.
