Good day!Ask ko lang din ASX Gls CVT lahat ang meron kayo? Same lang din ba specs nito sa ASX Glx M\T? o may pagkakaiba pa maliban sa tranny?* GH If ever M\T tranny pwede rin mag mods ng unichip,intake,headers,exhaust etc....? Thanks in advance.
Mascomfortable yung A/T bro, although magaan din daw (clutch) ng M/T sabi sa isang review ng top gear magazine..6 speed yung CVT compared sa M/T na 5 speed so interms of FC di sila nagkakalayo..
For me, I would prefer the CVT kasi I can switch to manual if sinisipag ako and return to matic if I'm in "lazy mode"..![]()
Pros of CVT:
-effort-free driving. Just shift to D and let the tranny do all the work
-smooth "shifting" from low to high range ratio.
-you can manually select a "gear" via paddle shifters or through the +/- selector on the shift level.
-selecting gears via paddles of selector is quick/responsive.
-6 ratios
-you have a free hand to hold and caress pretty girl seated beside you.
- no need to shift in case pretty girl wants to hold and shift your personal gear shifter.
Con of CVT:
-can not "launch" from a dead stop as quick as M/T
-cannot push-start in case of dead battery
-a bit "limited" for more HP upgrades (example, turbocharger mod limited to 8spi)
Pro of M/T:
-launches faster
-great for more aggressive driving
-you feel more connected to the car and road
-slightly more capable of more HP from the engine (future engine mods)
Con of M/T:
-obviously, a bit busier to drive because you have to manually shift
-left foot gets as busy
-smoothness of changing gears depends on driver skill
-only 5 gear ratios

Fog light lang mod ko sa asx ko bro..changed it to 6000k na HID..parang wala na kasi silbi yung fog light kapag HID na headlight ko..tapos yung engine cover ko na plastic, DIY lang na pininturahan ko..hehehe...HP or engine power, wala ako ginawa...di pa priority...hehehehe...kaw ba?
