    Yeah, mas masarap mag kalikot sa pinas. Even if you do it yourself, it's easier to recover from a mistake because labor and maintenance costs are cheaper. Even for serious stuff like hammering out dents in sheetmetal and repainting, everything is cheaper back home.

    How about leveling your headlights? Put them on high beam and then point your lights downwards using the dial?

    wala akong manual levelling dial bro, yung model dito has an auto leveling feature...it automatically levels the light maintaining a certain angle not to blind the incoming drivers at night.....yung lancer GT-A ng utol ko, yun yung may dial...

    Owners of ASX, are your front fenders made from stamped metal sheets? I was looking at the showroom unit and the material felt like plastic (similar material to the Gen I X-Trail's front fenders)

    Even the side fenders are made of plastic. I think that was done to save on weight.

    What "side fenders"?

    Are you referring to the side skirts? If yes, they are ALWAYS have been made of plastic in all cars.

    I'm referring to the front left and right side fenders of our ASX, the panel right above the front left and right wheel wells, not the side skirts. Didn't you know of this? I'll be surprised if you don't! My guess is that it was made that way to save on weight due to the smaller engine of our ASX.

    You labelled them as SIDE fenders. Technically they are either front or rear fenders (example front left fender). No SIDE fenders.

    Stand corrected on that one. Hey, have you done that mods yet? The installation of Unichip?

    Regarding the unichip, I am having it done by the weekend.

    Tomorrow is the test-fitting of the headers.

    Unichip of Speedlab, GH ? Or yung Race chip ng tsikot ? Naka-hyperlink kasi yung word na " unichip " sa thread ng " racechip " dito sa tsikot forums eh.

    Unichip yan ng Speedlab. Tsikot automatically links phrases to selected items kasi. Dati nagpost lang ako ng "Headunit" napadpad sa 2DIN HU ng Tsikot eh

    Mods: unichip, K&N drop-in airfilter, hot-pipe headers.

    note: first run on the dyno already had the headers & K&N installed.

    Impressive result! Naka install na ba Unichip in the result that you have posted? If not, will appreciate if you can post that once it is installed and tested. Also, kindly provide the total cost for the whole setup? Thanks

    That dyno graph shows the results.

    The green trace is just the headers & air filter.

    The blue trace is with the unichip.

    Although the HP gains with the unichip is small, torque gains are impressive.

    Cost is P51K.

    GH, how long or how many days or hours is the installation including the dyno testing? The reason I am asking this is because I am based here in Pangasinan so I need to arrange my schedule. Thanks and I hope to follow suit if my schedule permits.

    Assuming Speedlab is not full to overflowing with work:

    headers = 2 hours
    unichip = 1 hour
    dyno tuning = 1 to 2 hours

    I would suggest to come in the first hour of Speedlab's openning for the day.
