Anyway, I placed a reservation for a kingfisher blue unit. Sana may dumating na.

I talked to a mitsu dealer about buying a white ASX. They said they have no stock and no pending deliveries of white.

Then I talked to another one (Valle Verde) and they said they have white ASX in stock.

Hey guys, I'm going to visit there (Manila) probably this week. I'm planning to do a side trip to banawe to look for ASX accessories.

Can any of you guys advise me what accessories are available in banawe for the ASX? I've read a few pages back that may bentang chrome side mirror cover? Any1 confirm that and what store?

    Any other accessories? Thnx.

Sharing some wiper fun with your ASX. These are probably in the manual but just in case you didn't read it (these took me by surprise):

    - Your rear window wiper will activate automatically once you go in reverse and your windshield wipers are on (assuming that the rear window wipers weren't activated in the first place).
    - Give the windshield wipers a short, quick squeeze and the wipers / washers will go into an alternating "wash-wipe-wash windshield washing sequence". I can't describe it. Wait for the "pahabol" wipe (wait for it... wait for it... yunnn - gets me all the time).
    - The "INT" setting will automatically change to the "regular" wiper setting if you select the fastest "INT" setting and you speed up. It will go back to the "INT" setting once you slow down.

Galeng! As someone posted a while back, you learn something new everyday!

Just sharing my accessories hunt also: I purchased my door sills and mud guards through eBay. Some interesting finds there using keywords "mitsubishi asx" and "outlander sport".

Anyone here know where I can purchase:
    - That silver gray trim for the aircon vents and speakers?
    - That silver gray accent for the aircon knobs?
    - Piano black paneling for the window controls / interior door handles?

For interested GLX owners only: Regarding the chrome trim for the windows: I saw a number of them being sold on AliExpress but the trim for that little window in the rear isn't included. Bitin!

I will try that once I get back to Cebu (since I'm currently in Manila). Meron ganon feature pals. D ko alam.

Nwy, gray trims and piano black paneling are not available locally (as far as I know - from mitsubishi dealers as well as ban awe retailers). However, chrome accent for aircon knobs/controls are available in the parts section of mitsubishi dealers as well as a great number of OEM accessories (for a price).

The other day may nakita akong Mitsu dealer at nag-tatanong ako kung anong accesories mayroon ang asx.... wala daw dissappointed agad ako dahil akala ko may maiuuwi akong accesory. . for Car Care? maraming magaganda kaya lang may kamahalan...

White, black and brown lang daw available. I went with white instead. Dumihin lang talaga.
I asked to have the reverse cam installed pero nagulat ako kasi it wasn't what i expected. The actual cam is good naman. Sobrang wide ng field of view kaso there are no lines na nagaappear unlike the others i've seen.

Yup! found out about it this morning as well. The rear wiper auto operation is in the manual but what it doesn't mention is how smart the INT setting on the front wiper is. Like you said, it goes faster as you drive faster. Nice!

Guys, meron na bang chrome side mirror cover with led repeater for ASX? ang nakita ko lang is for montero, strada and adventure.

They just installed a standard aftermarket rear camera. They did not get the OEM Mitsu ASX/outlander rear camera. Too bad because the OEM camera is angled downward which helps give a sense of distance when combined with the lines on the screen.

Dumihin talaga Biscuit White. I suggest you buy Bug and Tar remover. Regarding the reverse cam, it really depends on the available stock of your dealer's accessories section. I ordered mine through AliExpress as suggested by other members of this thread (pls. backread) and had it installed by the former accessories man of Diamond Motors Quezon Ave. The only problem I encountered during installation was there was no input for the video RCA plug in the HU so I had to go to Winterpine Araneta to complete the installation. Turned out that because my unit was a GLX M/T and not Navi-equipped, the input module for the reverse cam was absent so I had to buy one from them. They also installed an additional wire to activate the "reverse cut-off" that activates the reverse cam mode of the HU whenever I put the gear in reverse. The camera's power is tapped to the reverse light but if you do not activate the reverse cut-off, the reverse cam mode of the HU will not be automatic.

That's what i was expecting. I didn't know there's another variant. And it's also why I ordered the part directly from them - para oem let this be a warning to other GLX/GLS owners/buyers. 8500 pa naman yung cam.

*TGRGE - thanks for the tip. Meron na nga spots ng asphalt. I read somewhere that i can use diesel fuel to remove it but I'll try tar remover first.

Look at the bright side bro, atleast mayroon warranty ung parts and installation nung camera..Another solution than i know na pwedeng magtanggal ng asphalt is kerosene bro..im not sure about the diesel fuel kung puwede yun...

I want to know whether your dealer allow you guys to bring your own engine oil for PMS. Our local dealer only allows us to buy and use their Mitsubishi engine oil. I plan to bring my own oil (Top 1 Evolution Fully Synthetic Engine Oil) which is far superior from the oil they are selling. However, if I do that, they said it will void the warranty (I'm assuming the engine warranty).

How about you guys? Did you bring your own oil? Does your dealer allow it?

Note: I didn't have any issue with using/bringing my own oil when I had my toyota in for its PMS.

*aeye...sa casa sa baguio bro di naman issue yung motor oil as long as same grade and fully synthetic yung dadalhin at gagamitin sa ASX..IMHO its better to use mitsubishi's motor oil para magkaroon man ng engine prob, pasok sa warranty natin..
